| ILS 16 Patch for LOWS 2006 |

File Description:
The standard files of Microsoft Flight Simulator are not accurate for the ILS approach on runway 16 in Salzburg/Austria (LOWS). This leads to erratic flight procedures of the AI traffic and errors in flight plans with destination LOWS (W.A. Mozart Airport). GPS does not recognize this ILS properly.
A fellow designer and member of the newly established "design team" headed by "gianni" -Gerhard Blaim- has carefully reworked the relevant data structure. "design team" now offers a file to solve the described bugs for free use for private purposes at own risk of each user of "LOWS_2006" (freeware).
Tested in FS9.1 with "LOWS 2006" under WindowsXP.

Simple Instructions for Modifying Land Class
Land classification, or land class (NOT "landclass"), is how Flight Simulator depicts the ground textures. For much of the FS world, the ground is not representative of the real thing, however. There have been complaints because of this from those who do not understand the cause of the problem.
This document explains the basic concepts behind the land class system, why it is inevitably inaccurate for most of the world, and the very easy-to-use tools with which to fix this.
Also includes instructions for modifying water class.
This is an html document for universal compatibility.
You do not have to be a computer programmer in order to change the land class. Anyone can do it quickly and easily.
So, why complain about it? Do something!

DSB Designs BAe Systems Hawk Mk.50/60, complete package. This aircraft is one of five Hawk packages that the restructured DSB Design team made available on their site as freeware; but the download link broke after only a few days; and I was one of the fortunate ones able to get the aircraft. After consulting with both David Brice and the AVSIM staff; all were generous enough to give consent for me to post these excellent aircraft here for general download.
