FS2004 LOM Library Objects Images - Set 34. This archive contains image import files containing thumbnails or image files for use with Library Object Manager (LOM) version 1.0+ program to manage FS2004 library objects and create scenery by ScruffyDuck Software, Jon Masterson. This is multiple image collections of 778 Objects, animals, buildings, housing, industrial, military, people, rail - water - road transport, rural, shops, lighting, vegetation and walls and fences. Requires LOM_100.ZIP, and installation of UKVFR LIBRARY.EXE and import into LOM of all ".BGL" files which are included with UKVFR LIBRARY.EXE. Please see readme documentation for details on licence and installation of UKVFR ADDONS LIBRARY.EXE. UKVFR Addons Website is: http://www.vfraddons.co.uk/ . Also included are complete sets of higher resolution screenshots to upgrade those images imported into LOM. Amundsen-Scott Station

File Description:
The Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station is the American scientific research station on the high plateau of Antarctica. This station is located at the southernmost place on the Earth, the Geographic South Pole, at an elevation of 2,835 meters (9301 feet) above sea level. Since the Amundsen-Scott Station is located at the South Pole, it is at the only place on the land surface of the Earth where the sun is continuously up for six months and then continuously down for six months. (The only other such place is at the North Pole, on the sea ice in the middle of the Arctic Ocean.) Thus, during each year, this station experiences one extremely long "day" and one extremely long "night". During the six-month "day", the angle of elevation of the Sun above the horizon varies continuously. The sun rises on the September equinox, reaches its maximum angle above the horizon on the summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere, around 20 December, and sets onthe March equinox. During the six-month "night", it gets extremely cold at the South Pole, with air temperatures sometimes dropping below -73 C (-100 F). This is also the time of the year when blizzards, sometimes with gale-force winds, strike the Amundsen-Scott Station. The continuous period of darkness and dry atmosphere make the station an excellent place from which to make astronomical observations. This file has the apron and characteristics of the airport the coordenates are placed as far south FS allow it.

Bombardier/Canadiar Regional Jet GE CF34-series Soundpack

File Description:
This sound is intended for use on Project Opensky's models, but they'll work pretty good I am sure on Wilco/Feelthere models and other freeware and payware planes. After month's of hard precision work, I present to you my new realistic and accurate CRJ General Electric CF34-3B and CF34-8C soundpack for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and x. This sound more specifically replicates the sound of the CF34-3C1 which powers CRJ-100 and CRJ-200s, however the CF34-8C sounds extremely similar to the -3B1 with a few minor differences. Also the interior sounds are mainly from a passenger perspective. Once you load your aircraft with these sounds, you'll hear the APU System and Fans in the cabin. You hear the humming sound of the CF34 at idle after you have started the engines. You spool up the engines at takeoff then hear the buzzsaw-like sound of the CF34 engine's fans. Once you lift off and put up the landing gear you will hear a chime from the cabin. It features realistic cockpit sounds like the autopilot deactivation sound, stall buzzer, overspeed beeper, gear up warning sound buzzer, flaps, rolling, and touch-down. I am sure that if you are a frequent Canadier/Bombardier Regional jet aircraft flyer, or if you're a pilot or flight crew onboard a CRJ aircraft, that you'll pretty impressed by these sounds. Give this soundpack a try, I am sure you won't be disappointed!

Nick's LightFix

File Description:
The concept and the base textures for this package are from Mark Poole and his original light replacement releases. Mark's original Nav Light package has a really good concept and uses light textures which create sharp lens flairs or bursts. I found the lens flair in his packages to be a bit too large and out of scale for my display and taste. Also, I wanted to have an easy way to replace all the FS9 lights in one shot with little or no configuration file editing. With that in mind, this package was created. This release will automatically replace ALL the Flight Simulator aircraft and airport lights with more realistic ones along with better distance visuals of slower flashing radio tower/smoke stack and ground beacons. It also includes replacement lights in scale for the PMDG 737, 747 and for all Project Opensky aircraft offered on their site. It works automatically with Ultimate Traffic and other AI add-ons which use the default Microsoft aircraft lights. I added a diffused halo effect to Mark's original airport_lighting_v2 texture which gives a more realistic look in cloudy or weather conditions and enhances the dynamic directional brightness of the lights. In addition to the navigation lights, I have also created aircraft beacons and strobes which will also install automatically . Gloster Javelin - Royal Navy - Double Pack

File Description:
The world's first twin-engine delta-wing jet fighter, the Gloster Javelin was the RAF's only delta-wing jet fighter, and was the RAF's first missile-armed interceptor. Designed to shoot down incoming Soviet nuclear bombers at high-altitude in any weather, day or night. This is a purely fictional repaint pack, as the Royal Navy has never equipped their Fleet Air Arm with the Javelin. This pack contains two repaints, one with Falklands-era blue-with-white-belly paint, and the other has a more modern low visibility scheme. The registration number is borrowed from a Royal Navy Harrier. Textures only! You MUST have Mike Stones' Gloster Javelin model, available from his homepage at http://www.pmstone.com/ to use this file!
