Another selection in my Airstrips of Western Europe project, herewith 80+ small airfields in central Germany, each enhanced with taxiways, parking spaces, buildings etc. and aprons as appropriate, to further facilitate the generation of lightweight AI traffic in the area, without overloading the more major airfields.
Again, there's no photo-realism here, just a selection of basic 'generic' buildings, more or less accurately sized and placed to reflect the airfield layout as seen on on-line satellite imagery and aerial photography. These buildings have minimal effect on frame-rates, so are ideal for this kind of job. The airfields are aligned as well as possible with the roads etc. in UT Europe and the Genesis Europe mesh, but should mostly be fine in a default installation or other configuration.
As before, the files for each airfield can be easily identified by the ICAO code, even if the airfield names vary slightly, so you can pick and choose and mix and match to suit any sceneries you already have, should you so wish. There is no requirement for any other download. Each airfield will exist as a stand-alone entity should you only want a few of them.

| Airbus A320 Family CFM56-5A/B Realistic Soundpack |

I am proud to release my new and final Airbus A320 CFM56-5A/B sound pack for Flight Simulator. These sounds are intended for the lovely Project Airbus model, but will work with other models. I made this soundpack as accurate as possible using real and digital recordings, after watching many videos of A320s, and my ability of perfect pitch. Once you load your aircraft with these sounds, you'll hear the APU System and Fans in the cockpit. You start the engines and hear the PTU system transferring the hydraulics from the Nr. 1 Engine to the Nr. 2 Engine for start-up. This sound was recorded from a real A320. You hear the humming sound of the CFM56 at idle. You spool up the engines at takeoff then hear the famous CFM56 buzzsaw-like sound of the engine's fans. Once you lift off and put up the landing gear you will hear a chime from the cabin. (Just a little realistic enthusiastic touch to add to the sounds, as in real videos you hear this sound every time after takeoff in the planes.) It features realistic cockpit sounds like the autopilot deactivation sound, stall buzzer, overspeed beeper, gear up warning sound buzzer, flaps, rolling, and touch-down. Please try these sounds out because you'll surely be impressed! :)

General Electric CF6-80 v2 soundpack simulating the engine type fitted on the Boeing 767.
This is a quite major rebuild of the first Boeing 767 GE soundpack I made in February 2005. I've spent a lot of time tweaking and listening to how the the engines spool-up and I think the results are quite pleasing. Soundset is matched with the flight dynamics engine to make flying a lot more enjoyble. Instead of taking off with 100% thrust to really hear the turbofan and letting the speed rocket up to 240 in seconds and then have to decrease the thrust to 30% to not pass 250knots, you now can take-off with 85-90% of thrust, make a very smooth take-off roll and controlled climb. A recommended N1 setting (thrust) is 85-90% for take-off! New features in this set: Matched to use with the Project OpenSky Boeing 767v4 family flight dynamics engine exclusively (this pack might not work correctly with other 767 planes), New spool and turbofan sound for the interior as well as the exterior, New cockpit environment, Cockpit environment can now be turned off when pushing the "Battery on/off" button (for those panels fitted with these), New interior and exterior APU (These sound kicks in when engines are turned off). This sound is intended for use on Project Opensky's models, but they'll work pretty good I am sure on Wilco/Feelthere models and other freeware and payware planes. After month's of hard precision work, I present to you my new realistic and accurate CRJ General Electric CF34-3B and CF34-8C soundpack for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and x. This sound more specifically replicates the sound of the CF34-3C1 which powers CRJ-100 and CRJ-200s, however the CF34-8C sounds extremely similar to the -3B1 with a few minor differences. Also the interior sounds are mainly from a passenger perspective. Once you load your aircraft with these sounds, you'll hear the APU System and Fans in the cabin. You hear the humming sound of the CF34 at idle after you have started the engines. You spool up the engines at takeoff then hear the buzzsaw-like sound of the CF34 engine's fans. Once you lift off and put up the landing gear you will hear a chime from the cabin. It features realistic cockpit sounds like the autopilot deactivation sound, stall buzzer, overspeed beeper, gear up warning sound buzzer, flaps, rolling, and touch-down. I am sure that if you are a frequent Canadier/Bombardier Regional jet aircraft flyer, or if you're a pilot or flight crew onboard a CRJ aircraft, that you'll pretty impressed by these sounds. File Description:
Heinkel P-1079, a new twin-jet fighter project of the Heinkel Aircraft Construction Corp. was designed in five variations, all under the same designation.
The first of these advanced designs, the Heinkel P-1078A was basically developed as a two-seated nightfighter. The pilot and the gunner/navigator were sitting in tandem position. The wings were swept back 35 degrees, mounted to mid-fuselage. The tail had a V-shaped rudder. The armament were three Rheinmetall-Borsig MK 108 30mm cannons in the nose and 24 R4-M 'Orkan' high explosive rockets on two racks mounted under the wings. Another feature of armament was the so-called 'schraege musik' with four upward-firing 20 mm Mauser MG 151/20 autocannons, mounted in the back of the aircraft. Therefore, the nightfighter had to approach and attack bombers from below, guided into position by commands from the navigator.
The aircraft should be equipped with the new FUG 228 radar unit. This sophisticated radar would have empowered the aircraft with an almost all-weather ability.
The engines were located in the wing roots. This version should be fitted with two Junkers Jumo 004D turbojet engines with two-stage fuel injector, each with 8.8 kN of power.
The max. speed was about Mach 0.89 = 950kph
The Range 1079.22nm = 1241.9 sm = 2000 km
The max. Service Ceiling was up to 51,000 ft = 15,545m

McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II (Version 2). This is one of the most iconic military aircraft of all time, ushering in the modern age of air combat; from Asia to the Middle East; and some of the 5,057 manufactured airframes are still in active use today, after over five decades of excellent service. This revised model set is what I originally envisioned when I undertook the modification of Nick Black's F-4E source files. Numerous changes are listed in the extensive documentation with this file. This file contains early, middle, and late F-4B base models; as well as the QF-4B with its NOLO (No Live Operator) drone configuration. The four main aircraft variants include a total of 27 loadout options, and 68 repaints representing these aircraft in service with the US Navy and United States Marine Corps. I have also included a layered Photoshop paint kit for repainters. While I did not paint every squadron from every cruise or time period, I believe there is a nice spread of representation in this package. This project properly updates my comprehensive (AI traffic) history of this aircraft. I did not do this alone by any means, and all contributors that I can think of are listed in the documentation. This is the complete aircraft, with all main FS textures and effects included. Original FSDS source and paint kit by Nick Black; FDE by Mike MacIntyre, all model/paint kit modifications and repaints by Michael Pearson.
