P-51D 31st FG/308th FS HL-N 'Flying Dutchman'

File Description:
In December 1943, Robert Goebel was assigned as a Replacement Pilot to the Mediterranean Theatre of Operations. He shipped out to North Africa and arrived at Oran, Algeria. He was assigned to the Supermarine Spitfire equipped 31st Fighter Group of the 12th Air Force and was checked out in the Spitfire at Telergma. As he joined the 31st FG at Castel Volturno, Italy on April 1, 1944, the Group had started a transition to the North American P-51B Mustang and its main mission changed from Close Support of front-line troops to Fighter Escort for the heavy bombers of the 15th Air Force. Lt. Goebel was assigned to the 308th Fighter Squadron. Eventually, the 31st FG were equipped with the P-51D-model Mustangs. Captain Goebel flew 61 combat missions from the 31st FG's base at San Severo, Italy including one of the FRANTIC Russian Shuttle missions. He led the 308th FS into combat seven times and the entire 31st FG into battle twice. Captain Goebel, still only 21 years old, rotated home to the USA as a highly decorated fighter ace with 11 aerial victories.

Go! Flight Plans (Mesa Airlines Hawaii Operation)

File Description:
Mesa Air Group Inc. said its new "go!" airlines will start flying between Honolulu and Lihue, Kahului, Hilo and Kailua-Kona on June 9, 2006. The published timetable is loaded with 20 min turn times, which could be a huge reliability issue in the real world. Departure times are accurate per the timetable published March 2006, but the arrival times were calculated by TCompiler. They are still fairly accurate, but in some situations allow slightly less than 20 minutes. Use CDAI CRJ-200 in Mesa colors until the go! textures become available.

Mustang Airport, (2CL9) Galt, California

File Description:
This is a scenery upgrade for Mustang Airport, Galt, California (2CL9) Part Eleven of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth. Again just a small Hanger and some other building seem to make up the airstrips buildings but the strip itself (which is a remarkable 4000ft long!) is surrounded by a very regular group of fields divided by dirt roads, this is visible both from google and the airnav shot, consequently I have made the scenery to try and match this.

The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 8999 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 1429 feet at a distance of about three miles from Sioux Falls. Sky Express is a regional charter Airline based in Heraklion Crete and operates a 18 seat BAe Jetsream 3102. The JS31 is a very successful and widely used aircraft, offering jet comfort at the price of a turboprop. Sky Express operates charter flights connecting Crete with the Aegean islands of Rhodes, Mykonos, Mytilini, Santorini and other attractive destinations. Other services include: air-taxi, Emergency Medical Service, excursions, sight-seeing and cargo flights. Texture set for an A-26B Invader, 9th Air Force, 1945 This is a repaint only for the SOH A-26 Invader, depicting an A-26B attached to the 552nd Bomb Squadron, 386th Bomb Group, 9th Air Force. Based in Belgium during 1945. The aircraft is fitted with an early style "six-gun nose." You will need the new six-gun nosed model with turrets (A26cmargie.zip) By John Terrell which is available at Sim-Outhouse and here at Avsim installed as well as the SOH A-26 complete package from Sim-Outhouse.

Deraya Air Shorts 360 (Indonesia)

File Description:
Deraya Air is an airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It operates commuter, charter, medical evacuation, and aerial photography services, as well as a flying school. Its main base is Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport (WIIH), Jakarta, with a hub at Husein Sastranegara International Airport (WIIB), Bandung. The airline was established in March 1967 and started operations in 1967. It is wholly owned by the Boedihardjo Group. In January 2005 Deraya Air Taxi had its first Shorts 360 aircraft delivered. This small package comes with flightplans for scheduled flights only.
