FS Nav 4.6 Crete

File Description:
This file is an FS Navigator 4.6 flight plan which will produce a very nice guided tour of the island of Crete. It it has been written with the specific intention of showing off the highlights of Jacques Sylvain's beautiful Crete 2004 scenery. Some of these can be a little difficult to find: my flight plan will automatically take you on the following route, optimising the altitude for best views as you go: Sitia airport - Ierapetra (south coast) - Lasithi Plain (with windmills) - Knossos Palace - Herakleion airport & Harbour - Mount Idi (birthplace of Zeus!) - Rethymnon Harbour - Chania Harbour - Souda (Chania) airport. Take off, engage FSNav and the autopilot, then sit back and enjoy Jacques Sylvain's scenery......

Westward repaint of Flight1 PC-12

File Description:
This is my first attempt at a actual repaint of a real airplane. It came out rather good if I say so myself. It is still a learning process. Request for repaints should go to http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=11356&PN=1 There are a few people doing them now, so hopefully one of us should be able to do it. Just keep in mine it does take some time to do the more difficult ones. Lines and number changes on a white plane can be done faster... This is a reworked version. The first one had a small painting eror on it. Just reistall it and it will over right the old one..

Black Version of the Flight1 172R

File Description:
This is a Black repaint of the Flight1 Cessna 172R for those secret missions you might have to do at night. It does have the call letters on the side. But in a very dark red to make it difficult to see. I use the call letters "N826SA" when asked during install process.. Please download my blank modified template on AVSIM and start doing some repaints. I am very new at this and I am still having some problems with different areas of the paint jobs. Mainly the rudder and the right side of the plane. If you look at it at a certain angle you can see the reflective lines of the original Flight1 body stripe lines. Any suggestions on making it easier to do the repaints or solutions please email me below !

The Alaskan Pipeline - Valdez Terminal and Pump Stations - Updated

File Description:
The Alaskan Pipeline - Your opportunity to explore one of the largest and most difficult construction projects of our time and see some spectacular scenery while doing it. This is a representation of the Valdez, Alaska Terminal and several Pump Stations along the 800 mile Alaskan Pipeline which extends from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez. The project was originally designed for ZIA Cargo/Sunspot Charter VA pilots, but is now being made available to the flightsim community. This is a completely new installation package which replaces all previously uploaded files and which clarifies the installation procedure. Complete instructions in .doc and .pdf formats are included. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder and follow the instructions very carefully. Scenery and design by John J. Hogan - Afcads and project compilation by David "Opa" Marshall.

MATVA Pacific

File Description:
Afcad2 files for more of the Pacific airfields used by ourselves. These Afcads are designed for FS2004 default airfields only. While most of them add more gates etc to the default airfields some of them are required to allow AI aircraft to operate from/to them as there are no landing facilities. Airfields included are Nauru (ANAU), Vanuatu airfields Bauerfield (NVVV), White Grass (NVVW), Sangafa (NVSE) and Santo Pekoa (NVSS). New Caledonian Group, Tontouta (NWWW), Ounaham (NWWL), La Roche Aero (NWWR), Ouloup (NWWV) and Moue (NWWE). I have also included Maroochydore Airfield (YBMC). I haven't made any changes to the airfield but I have moved the ATIS frequency as FS9 has it sharing/colliding with Brisbane ATC making it difficult to contact/answer Brisbane. Especially when approaching from the East.

Rockcliffe Flying Club update for the Flight Ontario Rockcliffe CYRO scenery in Ontario, Canada

File Description:
I recently installed a new mesh and discovered that some of my sceneries needed some modifications; CYRO Rockcliffe is one of them. Some of you may have the same problem at the east end of the airfield. This version takes care of changes that any add-on mesh may make by getting the land flat where it needs to be for the fences, the access road on the edge of the flat where it is in real life, and makes the best that can be made of the yacht club access ramp (unfortunately it is very difficult to manage elevation changes within FS9). Even if you have the default FS9 mesh this should still work ok. As I was anyway posting this I added night textures for the new clubhouse.

VoiceBot profile for the Locheed 1049 Super Constellation for FS9 by Manfred Jahn and team.

File Description:
This file is for use with the Speech Recognition program VoiceBot. The free version will allow you to carry out commands such as raising the gear, lowering the flaps and turning on various lights; the very reasonably priced payware version adds Text to Speech and allows the creation of a full flight crew, with co-pilot, flight engineer (very important in a propliner) and flight attendants. It must be emphasised that this file will not work as is, but will need quite a lot of modification before it will operate on your system and your installation of FS9. However, VoiceBot is not a difficult application to learn, and there is a good help file. Also, you can, of course, and without great difficulty, create a similar profile for absolutely any aircraft you want.

SIDSTARS Ronald Reagan Washington National (KDCA)

File Description:
Procedures based on current (Cycle 0701) FAA Digital Terminal Information and published charts. I include ten departure routes (KDCA hasn't a published SID) for use in lieu of ATC vectors, which are based on FAA Preferred Routes and actual traffic. All (turbojet) STARs are included, and the primary ones have enumerations to provide routing to approach in lieu of ATC vectors. Approaches included ILS01, RNP19 and the Visual Charted Approach Procedures. This location is directly South of the Washington Monument, the Mall and the most restrictive airspace in the county. The lowest minima available for landing South is the RNP19 approach, which requires a 40 deg turn on short final at 500 MSL. I believe "National" is one of the most difficult locations to fly in and out of, needless to say, B737/A320 types only (no B747). For PMDG Only.

Janet Airlines 2011 Boeing 737-600

File Description:
This is the full fleet of Boeing 737-600 Janets. It comes with a traffic file and easy install instructions. 32 bit textures provided. You will have to have the Boeing Aardvark B737-600 base pack for these repaints. It is available here at AVSIM. The traffic file has no real world value and is not to be considered "Classified". It is based on real traffic movements over a period of six months. EG&G is very difficult to track beyond 1 hour, much less 6 months. I left private contractors out of this package. This is only Janet flights to the Nellis Complex based at KLAS. Read me, install instructions are included. Traffic file made with A.I. Flight Planner. SKMZ 2011

File Description:
La Nubia Airport (IATA: MZL, ICAO: SKMZ) is located in Manizales, Colombia, 8 km[1] southeast of the city's downtown. Due to its short runway and limited ramp space, the only aircraft which can use the airport are turbopropeller aircraft such as the Fokker 50, ATR 42 and the Dash 8 models. The main problem of La Nubia airport is weather. Sometimes shut down to fog, rain or winds, it is difficult for airlines to offer a reliable schedule for the passengers wishing to visit Manizales and Caldas, and combined with its limited hours of operation (just daylight), this fact has been an obstacle for the region's development. This file is the airport with the runway and taxi ways resized, airport buildings; the airport charts required to navigate in and out of this airport can be found at www.aerocivil.gov.co/ under Informacion Aeronautica click AIP; on AIP click Aerodromos then click at SKMZ.
