| Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (Service Pack 2) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (Service Pack 2). This file corrects a significant XML issue with my JMAI B-52 model sets included in parts 9, 10, 11, and 12. I had re-arranged some of my XML code files and accidentally came up with a file that was missing some XML command lines for some of the animations for the aforementioned packages. There is also a texture update for the part 12 package. To sweeten the pain of this update (on my part, lol), I have thrown in some additional models, to include bonus loadouts and a couple of new model variants based upon this aircraft. Aircraft model by Jake Burrus and Mike Pearson, master textures and repaints by Mike Pearson, flight dynamics by Mike MacIntyre. Please read the documentation contained in the file.

| RAF Alconbury |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Scenery for RAF Alconbury. The last flying units to be based here were the A-10A's of the 10th Tactical Fighter Wing and the TR-1's of the 95th Recon Squadron. Alconbury was opened by the RAF in 1938, and taken over by the USAAF in 1942. It is one of two bases that have been continually in U.S. service since World War 2.
There are two options for parking setups in this scenery - it is defaulted to A-10 operations, but you can swap out files to house the RF-4's of the 10th TRW and F-5E's of the 527th TFTAS; the Phantoms are available but there are no F-5 paints available yet.
Scenery is made up from several object libraries, details can be found in the readme.

| RAF Avro 685 York C1 LV633 ASCALON |
|
File Description:
The third prototype became Winston Churchill's personal flying conference room. It was luxuriously fitted out and had square windows instead of the characteristic row of circular ones. Delivered on April 30, 1943, to RAF A&AEE, it was transferred to No. 24 Squadron on May 28, 1943, and named "ASCALON" after St. George's sword. The Prime Minister used it to fly to allied conferences at Moscow (1943), Cairo (1943), Teheran (1943) and Yalta (1945). On another occasion, it served as the personal aircraft of King George VI during his tour of North Africa in 1943. On June 10, 1954 it was struck off charge and finally broken up at North Coates, Lincolnshire. Gmax exterior model and paintkit by Manfred Jahn, FDE by Paul Edwards, repainted by Hans Hermann, Virtual Birds
Factory.

File Description:
This particular aircraft was originally a license build Messerschmitt Bf-109 G-4 by the spanish company Hispano Aviacion. After an accident the owner and MeyerMotors decided to rebuild her as an Messerschmitt Bf-109 G-12 two seat trainer equiped with an original Daimler Benz DB-605 engine.
Today she is mainly flown from the front cockpit with paying passengers at the rear. So I focalized on the front panel equiped with modern avionics required to today flight regulations. Of course you can still swith from the front to the rear cockpit which is fully operational.
I show her as she had her maiden flight in 2016 with Charly Brown at the controls.
She can be seen at Hangar 10 in Heringsdorf on the baltic coast near Peenemünde
