MeatWater VocPack for Radar Contact 4 VERSION 2 ## Part 6 of 10 ##

File Description:
Beeing a permanent user of RC4 I always felt that the only real downside were the voices which did not really sound like real ATC. The sheer amount of single files (more than 80.000!) always kept me from working on them, but then I found a way to batch process them, which took a lot of workload from me. However, due to the nature of these files and because almost every different voice set had a different "base-sound" as well, it was still required to fine tune the parameters for every single voice set, which turned out to be a lot more work than expected/feared. Once started I didn't want to give up half way down the road, so after many hours I finally had a complete set with a more than satisfying result. By installing these Version 2 remastered voice sets, ATC will now sound almost as the prerecorded, real chatter files, meaning that you will have to listen much more carefully now in order to hear messages that are directed to you. All voices now feature a "real" ATC sound, making RC4 immersive as never before. All included voice sets have also been increased in playback speed (new in this version!), allowing for a much more natural and professional flow. This new version also contains two remastered pilot voice sets that now feature a real "intercom" sound effect different from the VHF sound effect added to the controller voices.

Airspeed AS.5 Courier

File Description:
FSDS V3.0 Airspeed Courier. Has reflective Textures, usual animations, 2D Panel using all default Gauges plus a VC. The Airspeed AS.5 Courier was a British six-seat single-engined light aircraft that saw some use as an airliner. Production aircraft were built by Airspeed (1934) Limited at Portsmouth. It first flew on 10 April 1933 and was the first British type with a retractable undercarriage to go into production, with a total of 16 built. The prototype Courier was designed by Hessell Tiltman (co-founder of Airspeed Limited) and was built in 1932 by Airspeed at York for an attempt by Sir Alan Cobham to carry out a non-stop flight to India, using airborne refuelling. Airspeed moved from York to Portsmouth before the Courier G-ABXN first flew on 10 April 1933. The Courier was a wooden low-winged cabin monoplane; it had a novel feature for the day of a retractable undercarriage. The prototype was powered by an Armstrong Siddeley Lynx engine. The prototype had two minor accidents, in April 1933 at Portsmouth and in June 1933 at RAF Martlesham Heath. The aircraft was repaired on both occasions. After a year spent perfecting airborne refuelling, Alan Cobham took off from Portsmouth in the prototype Courier on an attempted flight to India on 24 September 1934, being refuelled from a Handley Page W.10 before making a forced landing at Malta due to a broken throttle.

Based upon commercial topographic maps, the designed scenery includes, every hiking trail drawn in meticulous detail including every real life switchback; every lake and small alpine pond 20 feet in diameter and over, modified landclass of alpine, forest & rock; every perennial and many intermittent creeks, all steams and rivers (many braided), a complete glacier mapping of every glacier with custom textures and ice fields on the mountain, a complete mapping of all rock faces and rock, moraine rock deposits, glacier outwash area, mudflows, roads, swamp and marsh areas. File Description:
Russia State Transport Company Ilyushin IL-18D for AI. Flight plan included for their 3 IL-18D's. The aircraft, based at Moscow Vnukovo operate V.I.P. flights which I have tried to recreate. This version is based on the original model by Pavel Hvatkin and Alex Novik, converted for AI use by Tom Gibson, replacement FDEs by John Hinson. This texture is the last in a series of 10 repaints.

Douglas A-4C Skyhawk 'VA-22 Fighting Redcocks' USS Coral Sea 1966

File Description:
This is a repaint of RAZBAM's excellent A-4C. These textures represent an A-4C of VA-22, Fighting Redcocks, on board the USS Coral Sea in 1966. In the real world this aircaft was shot down by AAA over North Viet Nam on 10/4/1966 and the pilot LCDR John D. Burns became a POW. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the RAZBAM "The Skyhawks Volume 1" payware package.

Avionic Airlines Handley-Page 42

File Description:
Avionic is one french real & virtual aviation web site. A pioneer of early aviation, the H.P.42 was the first true intercontinental ailiner. It was crude by the standards of the day,but sturdy and reliable. Only 8 were built,but they all flew in service for over 10 years, with the lead ship logging over 1 million miles!. They retired without a single fatal accident. Custom panel included.
