| Iles de la Madeleine CYGR in Quebec Canada |

File Description:
The Iles de la Madeleine are a group of spit islands linked by bridges in the Gulf of St Lawrence. They are east of New Brunswick, north of Cape Breton Island, west of the Island of Newfoundland, and south of the mainland coast of Quebec. On a southwest to northeast axis they are 40 miles in length and the airport CYGR is pretty much at the midpoint of the southern line of islands. Take a look at the overhead from FS9 to see what I mean. CYGR has two runways, one is aligned 08-26 and is just under 4,400 feet long and 150 feet wide with lighting and PAPI at both ends. The second is aligned 16-34 and is 3,600 feet long and 150 feet wide, without lights or PAPI. Both are asphalt. The apron is not huge, and a newish (in 2010) hangar was built with separate access to the 16-34 runway. There are daily flights by Air Canada and Pascan Aviation included in the AI. The AI also includes some boats and a ferry, and I first used these with my Dutch Harbor scenery, so if you have that already.... This scenery also includes Cindy Hook, a small boat harbour just 2 miles southwest of the airport, and the larger harbour at Cap aux Meules a further 3 miles away that accommodates the daily ferry trips, along with fishing boats etc. Also included here is a further addition to the Homer PAHO scenery in the shape of a boat that is included in the Homer Spit harbour. Just add the contents of the scenery folder to the Homer scenery folder of your Homer installation, and the texture folder contents to the Homer texture folder. | Default New York JFK with Active Runways |

File Description:
A High quality AFCAD2 file for the default FS2004 New York JFK. This file has been completely rebuilt from scratch using information from the latest FAA charts (17th March 2005). All Aprons have been completely rebuilt and are modelled to be as near real as possible. Improvements have been made to the taxiways, including slight realignments where needed to avoid building collisions. The 'crosswind runway technique' has been applied to this airport to activate all runways for simultaneous use. This means all 4 runways at this airport will be used for simultaneous take-offs and landings, all the time. Full night lighting has been provided for taxiways and runways. On the default setup, more than 1 runway shared the same ILS frequency and these frequencies have now been altered by +.05 MHz to avoid conflicts. Approach lighting has been upgraded to "ALSF-2" on all runways to better assist your approaches in poor visibility. Displaced thresholds have also been modified to enable better traffic flow for landing aircraft. A 'Tower View' is now available. All real life gates at at each terminal within the airport are now available for use and they are correctly numbered as per real life and have the correct airlines assigned to them. Extra parking can be found at the GA Terminal, cargo bases and maintenance areas, and all real life helipads have been added to the airport. Additional overflow parking (remote stands) can be found at Terminal 4, UA Terminal 7 and AA Terminal 8/9. This AFCAD2 has been fully tested and all traffic flows as it should. If you have a large amount of traffic flowing thru JFK, this file will certainly bring the airport to life. Note: There are 2 versions included within this package: (1) Terminal 5 out of use as per real life (no gates added), (2) Terminal 5 in use, with gates allocated to TWA (as it was back then). | Twin Lakes Airstrips in British Columbia Canada |

There are three grass airstrips within sight of each other from the air at Twin Lakes in BC, which is between the close junction of Elkin Lake and Vedan Lake. The two lakes are similarly shaped and sized and in the same narrow valley between high ground that runs north-south; hence the name. Elkin is to the north, and Vedan is to the south. Twin Lakes CAG4 is on the strip of land between the two lakes and it is unclear to me who it belongs to etc. It is not in the Nav Canada copy that I have with me which is from 2010, and the online version does not cover grass strips. It is probably owned by whoever lives in the house next to the red hangar. The runway is 3,600 feet of grass aligned 14-32 at 3,945 feet ASL. Chaunigan Lake Lodge CF83 is over to the northwest from Twin Lakes by around 2 miles or so and as the name suggests it services the Lodge of that name, which is on the northeast corner of Chaunigan Lake. The runway is 2,600 feet of grass aligned 02-20 at 4,900 feet ASL. You might want to read about altitude power reductions for the take off. Elkin Creek Guest Ranch CBL9 is at the southern end of Vedan Lake and serves the ranch. This appears to be another high-budget operation and the runway is 3,670 feet of grass aligned 36-18 at 3,999 feet ASL. I have posted this as three separate airstrips, but I suggest that you add these to your "BC airfields" folder as previously suggested. Up to you. If you find a defect, email me. The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and these are coastal villages or radar installations to the west of Barrow, and there will be additions. Cape Lisburne is a gravel runway right next to the coast with radar gear and accomodation buildings close by, and what was called "Top Camp" at the end of a long and steep road to the top of a nearby hill, or mountain. The runway is lit, as are most of them in this area of long dark winter nights. Barrow is 270 miles to the northeast. Point Lay PPIZ used to have a radar installation as well as a village, but the old buildings have now been removed and the gravel runway 05-23 has been lengthened to 5,000 feet to serve the village throughout the year. The population is around 270, living mostly traditionally and with an annual beluga whale hunt. Barrow is 180 miles to the northeast.
Wainwright PAWI, some 80 miles southwest of Barrow and on the coast, has a population of around 570. The PAWI runway is just under 5,000 feet long and like PPIZ is aligned 05-23, lit, and with PAPI on each end. The original runway of some 2,000 feet is still visible next to the apron. Three miles to the southeast there is a third runway, at AK03, serving the Wainwright DEW station. It was decided in 2007 to close the station and to remove the buildings both there and at Point Lay because of subsidence, but everything at Wainwright was still in place in 2009 and beyond. The villages have been "sketched" as opposed to replicated exactly. The texture folder includes the missing car textures for Barrow PABR, and the AI is modified PABR to include passenger flights by Ravn and cargo flights by Northern Air Cargo, plus limited GA. There are no flattened grassed areas at these airfields; they are runways and taxiways and aprons on a bed of gravel on permafrost.

| P-51D Mustang "Upupa Epops" |

File Description:
This is a repaint pack only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. P-51D 44-72364 was built at the North American Aviation Inglewood plant in 1944. It was sent into action with the 353rd Fighter Group, 352nd Fighter Squadron, 8th Air Force. The aircraft was flown by Capt. Harrison "Bud" Tordoff, who named it "Upupa Epops", latin for the Hoopoe Bird which has ungainly flight. At war's end Bud Torduff had claimed nine enemy airplanes shot down, one of them an Me-262 shot down while flying "Upupa Epops." After the war the aircraft was sent to the Royal Swedish Air Force, then flew with the Dominican Air Force from 1952 until 1984. Paul Allen, of Microsoft fame, purchased the aircraft in 1999, adding it to his growing muesum, the Flying Heritage Collection. The aircraft immediately went to WestPac, in California, for restoration. During this time period it was restored inside and out, matching every component to every specification of the original, utilizing documents upon documents of information. When the aircraft completed restoration in 2001, it was the most original, most authentic of its type. After several test flights in its factory finish, the original "Upupa Epops" markings were applied. Currently the aircraft can be seen at its newest home, with the Flying Heritage Collection, at Paine Field, near Seattle. Included within this download are two repaints, one portrays exactly how "Upupa Epops" looked when it rolled out of WestPac's shop after restoration, in factory standard, and the second portrays the aircraft complete with markings.

| Big Creek U60 public use airfield in Idaho USA |

File Description:
This airfield is in the mountains of Idaho, 30 miles south of Dixie A05, which was the first in the series to be posted. Big Creek is now regularly used for picnic fly-ins and overnight camping, or for just a day of fishing in the creek; the creek does not appear in FS9 as it is not exactly huge, and within the Ultimate Terrain USA settings I have in fact turned streams off as in some cases they cross the grass or (in conjunction with the roads) left insufficient runway space. The U60 runway is at 5,743 feet ASl, 3,550 feet long, aligned 01-19, and in good condition. At the southern end there is the new replica of the old original Big Creek Lodge which was built in 1935. This burned down in 2008, and is now being rebuilt by a group of pilots, pilots having formed a large part of the early clientel courtesy of the grass strip. It is shown here as still under construction. There are also Forest Service buildings on the west side of the runway. All of this is located in the Frank Church Wilderness area and the Payette National Forest. The AI is increased at the weekends, reflecting reality, and also revised to use Boise as one of the starting places. Dixie is also reissued here with a revised positioning to fit with the roads. I had concluded that the roads were wrong, while in fact the position of the airstrip was at fault.
