File Description: Following up the release of my all new CF6-80 sounds last weekend, it was only fitting to re-upload my Trent 800 soundset that was lost due to the AVSIM library hack. This is a highly realistic representation of the Rolls Royce Trent 800 turbofan engine, used exclusively on Boeing 777 airliners all over the world. This sound package is intended for use with any designation and thrust rating of the RR Trent 800, from the 875, 877, 884, 890, 892 & 895. Also included are Boeing Triple 7 specific flightdeck warning alerts and overall cockpit ambiance. All of the Trent 800's signature features from the startup and shutdown sequence to the deep buzzing howl and the awesome raw power and noise of the buzzsaw at takeoff thrust is included. Everything has been simulated to the highest level of authenticity for your enjoyment! All of the audio is recorded in high quality stereo PCM at 22.050hz, and has been expertly edited, mixed and compiled by myself. You will not encounter distortion or phasing issues, and because of this, these sounds are fully compatible with FSX even without soundcones. MP3 previews are included in the zip so you can listen for yourself prior to installation. Remember, payware doesn't automatically mean better! Streamlined panel for Grumman Goose G-21

File Description:
This panel streamlines the cockpit and virtual cockpit (VC) views in Lynn and Bill Lyons' Grumman Goose G-21 (cc9g21f2.zip). Why mess with perfection, you might ask? I like the Goose a lot: it's elegant, versatile, and has great views for VFR sightseeing. But on my system, the virtual cockpit's a bit sluggish. There's nothing wrong here with the airplane: it's just what happens when you try to run a complex piece of software on old hardware. Rather than give up, I decided to reduce the number of gauge objects, first in the cockpit (which I don't use very much anyway) and then in the virtual cockpit (which is where you should be flying this great old bird anyway). I also eliminated some of the hotspots. With fewer gauge objects, there are more system resources left over for the sim. The result, on my system, is smoother flying. While I was at it, I also replaced the magnetic compass with a VOR gauge. I know that's unrealistic, but that's what I did.

FS98 retro repaint - Boeing 737-400 fix

File Description:
This is a little fix that adds the missing cockpit textures. - They weren't included in the paintkit I used and I already wondered why FFX could have left the cockpit blank white with no textures, until I discovered today that other FFX 737-400 repaints had no simply white cockpits. So I searched other repaints for the original texture files FFX provided for the cockpit and here are the two missing files I found.

British Airways Boeing 777-300 Install Fix

File Description:
Boeing 777-300 ver 1.1 install fix. UPDATED version for my other repaint, this one has the Folder name fix and Aircraft.cfg bug fix, so making it easier to install, also includes extra textures 'Emergency crew cutting hatches' and more with detailed installation instructions. I know, I know, I know, that British Airways do not own 777-300's but I find that the default aircraft 'fly' better, and I just cannot do without the virtual cockpit (this package includes the virtual cockpit) this is my first attempt at painting aircraft, I hope you like it.
