Fiat G-46-4B Austrian Air Force

File Description:
These are Austrian Air Force textures for the excellent Fiat G-46 (FS2004 and FSX models available) by I. D'Attomo and G. Quai. (available ONLY at www.flightsim.com - fiat-g46.zip for FS2004 OR g46-fiat.zip for FSX)

In 1957 the newly founded Austrian airforce received five aircraft of this type as a present from Italy. They were mainly used as trainers for formation flight, first at Zeltweg AFB, then at Linz Hoersching until 1963. This particular aircraft was on exhibition at Zeltweg airport's celebration of "50 years of Austrian Air Force" in 2005.

South African Air Force (SAAF) Sikorsky S-51

File Description: c/n 51-102. Delivered in 1948 to 12 Squadron. A1 crashed at Mtubatuba in October 1950, was repaired and later transferred to 17 Squadron at Ysterplaat in December 1957. It was sold in 1964 as ZS-HBT and scrapped some years later. A scrap yard in Cape Town offered the aircraft to the SAAF Museum in 1976, whereupon it was restored to static display at the South African Air Force Museum at AFB Swartkop. These are texture files only. Prior installation of Greg Pepper's Sikorsky S-51 is required.
