Tips and Tricks - 24 - The FINAL issue. Issue number 24 officially brings to an end the Tips and Tricks for FS2004 series. This issue is packed with some useful tips and how-to's, valuable web-site links and much, much more. The "From the E-mail bag" segment explores several ways to recover disk space and there is a special interview with a prolific author of FS scenery. You will also find a Bonus File which will make the startup of a reviewed aircraft considerably easier. Look for a special Holiday recommendation (for kids of all ages). I have even thrown in a bit of Aviation humor. An updated index for the entire series (by John Burford) is also included. Hopefully you will find something of use, be you a "newbie" or a long time simmer. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder. Airbus A320 Sound Package. These sounds were recorded from various Airbus A320 with CFM56 engines. The soundset was carefully recreated to authenticate the engine sounds of the Airbus A320. Included features are:
� Real gear up and down sounds
� Real wind ambience according to the airspeed
� Characteristical internal and external:
- real A320 growling noise on take-off
- real A320 typical internal and external whine noise
- real A320 idle sound
- real A320 startup and shutdown sounds
� Enhaced Flaps sounds
� Real A320 APU sounds featuring Fan Blades rotating sound when engines are off
� Many more features included...
All the sound files are in PCM 22,050 Hz; 16 Bit; Stereo format to have maximum quality as possible. All sounds included in this sound were recorded from real Airbus's A320. Soundset by Andre Silva.

Tupolev Tu-126 Moss. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic Russian airborne early warning and electronic warfare aircraft; which was derived from the Tu-114 airliner. The Tu-126 was used in limited numbers, with only 12 built, but was an important support aircraft for the Soviet Union in the latter half of the cold war. The Tu-126 was used both as an early warning aircraft, and as a powerful stand-off jamming EW aircraft; and was the predecessor of the current-use Ilyushin A-50 Mainstay. This package conrtains three model variants and three repaints; the operational aircraft did not have any listed serials, but there are a few modifications across the twelve production aircraft. Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre. Please read included documentation.

McDonnell F-101 Voodoo, also known as the One-Oh-Wonder. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this cold warrior of military jet history. Going into production in 1954, 807 aircraft served thirty years in the USAF and the air forces of Canada and Taiwan. The F-101 was originally designed as a long-range escort fighter (with all-cannon armament); but evolved into an air defence interceptor and very capable recon aircraft which served extensively in Vietnam. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the F-101 in the span of its entire career with the USAF, RCAF/CAF, and ROCAF; with a total of 20 models and 69 repaints. It is painted by the use of real photos, the official paint kit and hand painted with dirt effects, photorealistic windows, light/shade effects. Features (in depth): Fully animated control surfaces, Fully independent suspension, Dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence (Thanks to Fraser Turner) Thrust reversers that open fully on idle reverser thrust.
