| KCLT Charlotte Douglas International Airport |

In 2008 runway 18R/36L at KCLT was renamed 18C/36C in anticipation of a third parallel under construction. The new runway was to be designated 18R/36L and was finally activated on January 6, 2010. This scenery adds that new runway to the default Charlotte Douglas International Airport (KCLT). This is a complete rebuild of my previous upload, KCLT2010 (not required) that inadvertently removed approximately 30 airports in the Charlotte area, including Fayetteville and Spartanburg. It also includes Terminal E, which was added in 2002, but never made it into the default FS2004 scenery.
I used Airport Design Editor (ADE9x) to modify the default FS2004 KCLT file, renaming the default 18R/36L to 18C/36C, create the new taxiways, taxi signs, NavAids, 18R-36L runway, and Terminal E. I used Abacus EZ-Scenery to add jetways, gate markings, and ramp lights. All files, libraries, and textures are either default or included. No additional downloads are required. AI Aircraft were acting normally on my system. I sat at Taxiway W2 for the new Runway 18R/36L and watched AI Aircraft land and take off from it after creating this scenery.

File Description:
A 'generic' Turbulent, representing no particular aircraft, this is a relatively basic AF99 model, (no animations), dusted down and re-polished for FS2004, and fitted out with a custom set of xml gauges on an aluminium panel. This is definitely an aircraft to be sat in and flown, not examined in detail from the outside, the features just aren't there. An old favourite of mine, first designed "way back when" in A&AF for FS4, now dragged back out of the hanger and used as an ideal "lo & slo" aircraft with photographic VFR scenery and/or a good terrain package, the small panel allowing a much better view in flight than many other aircraft. With a cruise speed of 80kts you'll not be in a hurry to get anywhere, but with a landing speed of around 30kts and a take-off roll of "not a lot" you can operate into and out of any farmstrip. These slow speeds, combined with the relatively good visibility from the cockpit, also make this an ideal aircraft for "tailwheel conversion" ... great if you have problems landing the Extra 300 or possibly even the Cub.

File Description:
If you like flying in New Zealand but in the Qantas livery, that means flying a QANTAS/Jetconnect B737-300 or 400. QANTAS Jetconnect is based in Auckland, New Zealand (NZAA) and is a subsidiary of Qantas. I love flying in and out of Queenstown, New Zealand (NZQN), so that was the inspiration for this repaint. Besides, there are no repaints of the Qantas Jetconnect B737-400's in the new Qantas livery.
Qantas Jetconnect operates a fleet exclusively comprised of Boeing 737's. As of Jan 2009, they operate 5 376 models and 3 476 models for a total fleet of 8 aircraft. This 476 model, bearing registration JK-JTR, is the first in the fleet to be repainted in the new Qantas livery with a restyled kangaroo, new font for the QANTAS name, and the missing gold band in front of the red on the aft section of the fuselage.
Most repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps. This is a textures only package; you must own the 50North Boeing 737-400.

| Douglas VC-118-DO 'The Independence' |

File Description:
Built at Santa Monica, CA (c/n 42881/29) as the personal aircraft of President Harry S. Truman. It was named 'The Independence' after President Truman's home town in Missouri. The aircraft was delivered on 1 July 1947 and served from 4 July 1947 on as a presidential aircraft till 1953 when Gen. Dwight Eisenhower became President of the USA. It seems that the rather special paint job was based on an idea by President Truman himself. 46-0505 served on as a general VIP transport till 1966 when it was donated to the Smithonian Institute for preservation. It is on loan to the Air Force Museum at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. 'The Independence' could accommodate for 24 day or 12 sleeper passengers (in the main cabin). It had a luxurious State Room aft of the passenger door. Usually there was a crew of eight. It is featured here in its original tan, blue and metal livery. You will require Jens B. The Project Open Sky team now presents our long awaited version 3 of our CRJ-900, in Air Nostrum (Iberia regional) colours [EC-JYA]. This release also includes the 2008 sticker "Comunidad Sede de la 32a America's Cup". This model is a continuation of our previous CRJ700 project.
Built mainly for FS2004 (not fully tested in FSX, see our support forums at http://www.projectopensky.com), the CRJ900 model features highly detailed and accurate exterior model, dynamic wing flex with XML coding, wing views, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent XML landing gear suspension, trim animation, highly realistic Opening Passenger Door L1 (integrated Airstair door) and opening forward and aft baggage holds (opened by the included POSKY Utility Panel), rolling wheels and extremely detailed animated landing gears with photorealistic textures, XML coded nose gear steering with steering lock at high rolling speed, animated thrust reversers, modeled built-in Lektro Pushback Tug (controlled by POSKY Utility Panel) and highly-detailed and accurate, 32bit day and night textures and realistic lighting effects.
