| Martinair "Biafra" Douglas DC-6A |

File Description: On 13 December 1966 the Dutch charter company Martinair Holland (MAC), proud
owner of a fleet of four Douglas C-47, a Douglas C-54B, two Convair 640, and
four Douglas DC-7C aircraft, bought a Douglas DC-6A registered PH-MAM. The
DC-6A, which at one time belonged to KLM and could transport 11 tons payload or
97 passengers, was aquired in order to replace the smaller C-54B PH-MAE. It was
a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From the late October
1968 till the beginning of January 1970, PH-MAM flew on the Biafra airlift from
the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf
of the Dutch Red Cross. Having returned from this mission, the aircraft was
overhauled and used by Martinair for one more year, before being sold to
Yugoslavia. The inspiration for this repaint was a coincidental meeting at
Schiphol I had many years ago with former Martinair Captain Dries van Ommen. He
was in command of PH-MAM during the Biafra airlift. We had a nice conversion,
accompanied by the impressive sight and sound of a DC-6 during take off. These
are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-6B
CB-16 Base Pack, DC-6A CB-17 Base Pack and DC-6A CB-16 Base Pack (available at
http://www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer. For FS2004 and FSX.

Norwegian Air Shuttle operates "long-haul" flights to Asia and the United States through two fully owned subsidiaries, Norwegian Long Haul AS and Norwegian Air International Limited. The two subsidiaries operate Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Norwegian Long Haul is registered in Norway, and is managed by Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA from its head office at Fornebu. Norwegian Air International is registered in Ireland and has its head office in Dublin. Norwegian Long Haul does not operate any own routes, but instead its capacity is used to operate the routes of parent company Norwegian Air Shuttle to Asia and North America.
Norwegian livery painted on Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) Boeing 787-8 Rolls Royce model. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. This photoreal scenery is based on aerial photos grabbed at the resolution of 5 meters per pixel (the same used in FS2004). I worked hardly on these photos to obtain a final product with the real colours and the real positions for all parts of the landscape: if you have any comments or suggests, feel free to email me.
Every single part of this scenery can be used also as a standalone product, so it's not necessary to download all 4 parts of my big scenery.
However i strongly suggest to use all parts in order to obtain a complete photoreal look of this beautiful italian landscape, with famous mountains like Gran Sasso and Maiella.
For best results, use this scenery in association with Pietro Mauri Italymesh2004.
DISCLAIMER
This scenery is released as freeware, so nobody can make money with it.
You cannot include this scenery in any software collection or web site without written permission of author.
You can add objects and autogen (i had no time to work on them).
This software can be used only as FSX/FS2004/FS2002 scenery: no other use is allowed.

The Airbus A380 is a doubledecker, four-engined airliner manufactured by Airbus S.A.S. It first flew on April 27, 2005 from Toulouse, France. Commercial flights should begin in 2006 after 15 months of testing. During much of its development, the aircraft was known as the Airbus A3XX. The A380 is now the largest passenger airliner, topping the Boeing 747, which was the largest for 35 years. However, the Antonov An-225 retains the record of being the world's largest commercial aircraft.
The media has termed the A380 a "superjumbo", with some comparing it to Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose. The first A380 prototype was unveiled during a ceremony in Toulouse, France, on January 18, 2005. Its manufacturer's serial number is 001, and is registered as F-WWOW. The new Airbus will initially be sold in two versions: the A380-800, carrying 555 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 800 passengers in a single-class economy configuration. Expected range for the -800 model is 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km). The second model, the A380-800F dedicated freighter, will carry 150 tons of cargo 5,600 miles (10,400 km). Airbus made the cockpit layout, procedures and handling characteristics similar to those of other Airbus aircraft to reduce crew training costs. Likewise, he A380 features a glass cockpit and side-stick flight controller.

Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary location and follow the installation instructions very carefully. Do not attempt to install this scenery with a "scenery manager" - for proper installation please use the built in installation routine.

Steamboat Springs (KSBS), Flat Tops Wilderness Area, Colorado, Photo-Scenery (FS9 & FSX)
The Flat Tops Wilderness Area, which is the second largest wilderness area in Colorado, is named for its many flat topped mountains that are clearly visible from the sky. Trappers Lake, located in the north of the area inspired Arthur Carhart, a US Forest Service official, to initiate a plea for Wilderness preservation as early as 1919. Finally in 1975, three years before his death in 1978, the Flat Tops were designated a wilderness area. No wonder he found the area so entrancing: Behind Trappers Lake loom majestic volcanic cliffs, and beyond them a vast subalpine terrain reluctantly yields to alpine tundra with an average elevation of about 10.000 feet. More than 100 lakes dot the country above and below numerous flat-topped cliffs. Steamboat Springs is an internationally known winter resort destination.
To explore the scenery depart from Steamboat Springs Airport (KSBS) or Yampa Valley Airport (KHDN) and head south. High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/GNB_West2.html . The screenies are taken from the high-res versions, so expect this version to be slightly more blurry. This is the first of the expected seventeen sceneries in the "VFR of Lario" project, that will include the full view of the Como Lake, made with photorealistic terrain (multiseason & night) and with 3D GMax realistic objects, including some motions. Further the Como seaplane airport, the project will include some other virtual ones, and all the piers of NLC (Navigation Lake Como). The project will be completed with a related AI seaplane traffic.
The "VFR of Lario" project REQUEST the installation of the scenery "Itcoast2.zip" & the related "ITAC2_P1.zip", both available for free download from different libraries.
Information: Como is the main and beautifull city on the namesake lake (called Lario), placed in the north of Italy, closed to the Helvetic border. It includes the AeroClub Como seaplanes international airport, with his own flight school. Como has the headseat of NLC, the fleet management for connection of forty Lario's piers. This first scenery covers approximately an area of 7.5x6 kmt.
Contents: airport water track with hangar and static seaplanes; breackwater and stadium lake front, war memorial monument, Volta's temple and lighthouse, main Cathedral, Social theater, city old towers and wall, villa Olmo, square Cavour's buildings, NLC main pier and some minor others, Como-Brunate's funicolar connection (animated), lake fountain, Tavernola shipyard, Baradello's castle, Valduce hospital; motor ships (animated), steamer, hydrofoils and other minor boats; several other buildings (GenericBuilding system), trees and lights widespread all over the scenery.

File Description:
This airbase, located about 35 NM in the west of Munich (Bavaria, South Germany),
is the homebase of JaBoG32 riding the Tornado PA200. The German flight check
department GMFS, using C-47 in the early days and thereafter Hawker-Siddeley 748
as well as HS-125 for periodic recalibration of the radar- and navigational
equipment at civil and military airfields, was also on the base till 1994.
After the final decision was made not to establish commercial air traffic although
it had been discussed for a long time period, I reworked the airbase completely.
Among other objects, 38 hardened shelters for combat aircraft have been emplaced.
The included AI-Package contains: Lockheed F-104E GAF, Panavia Tornado PA200 GAF,
Mikoyan MiG-29 GAF, Douglas C-47 GAF, Canberra B.20 GAF, Boeing E3A Nato, Boeing
KC-135 USAF and an aircraft.cfg for the MS Learjet 45.
Several F104's, Tornadoes and MiGs perform touch and goes in the local area,
a Nato E3A leaves IFR to Geilenkirchen (ETNG), an USAF KC-135 routes IFR to
Decimomannu (LIED), a Canberra B.20 (was used for high altitude validations) goes
IFR to Cologne (EDDK) high in the sky and a Learjet shoots IFR to Bremen (EDDW) per
attached flight plan.
Lago's FSE is required in order to see most of the emplaced buildings /objects.
Lets get ready to rumble, but keep in mind, don't argue with the flight checkers
if they are on duty.

Tongass Remote Airfield v2 - for Tongass Fjords (FS9)
"Tongass Remote Airfield" v2 (RATR) Alaskan bush flying scenery (Fictitious).
This airstrip is for Flight Simulator 2004 and for the "Tongass Fjords" (FS9) addon by Holger Sandmann & Bill Womack; you must have "Tongass Fjords" (FS9) for this to work. Version 2 is a detailed, stand alone, remake of the first version, see PDF file.
Field history and description:
In the early days this area was well known to prospectors and hunters. A small mine was established and later abandoned. Around the late 40s a crew was contracted to clear a small landing area to gain easier access for hunters and campers. Due to the extreme remoteness of this area that clearing took several years. The last phase was the approach, clearing by hand a descending glide slope through just the tops of the tall trees. There is now just enough room for a very experienced pilot to get in and out of this field. The airfield is 26 miles north of Petersburg Alaska (PAPG). This is a tricky narrow approach with a left hand dogleg and then an immediate right hand dogleg turn just before the final approach. Not much time to set up your approach; also, it's a very short runway. For experienced pilots only, and make sure that your life insurance is up to date. Good luck.

File Description:
This AI-Package contains several beautiful airplanes: Bell-UH1D, Hamburger
Flugzeugbau: C-160 Transall, Heinkel: He-111C, Lockheed: T-33A T-Bird,
Martin: B-26 Marauder, Nord Aviation: ND2501 Noratlas and last not least the
North American: Harvard Mk.41 T-6.
Most of these aircraft perform "Touch and Goes" in the local traffic pattern
at Landsberg-Airbase per attached flightplan and some C-160 Transall go IFR to
Hohn (ETNH, homebase of LTG63), Wunstorf (ETNW, homebase of LTG62), to Sarajewo
(LQSA) and Pristina (LYPR).
All the attached outstanding airplanes have been created by well known designers
(see briefing). My part was just to put them together and to generate an almost
reasonable AI-Flightplan.
