This aircraft utilizes Fernando Martinez's AI Mirage 2000 models, which I have included since the B/D package seems to have been lost in the hack last year. File Description:
This repaint represents a Douglas C-54 Freighter as it was used by "TMA of Lebanon" during the sixties.
TMA operated as many as 7 DC-4s (C-54) by 1962.
Jens B. Kristensons' excellent Douglas C-54 freighter model is needed to see the result.
Works in FS2004 and in FSX
The scenery of Beirut by Wolfgang Gersch is the perfect home base for this plane.

This is meant as a default replacement and includes an AFCAD2 file for lots of assigned parking. I was a little disappointed with the default Newark Liberty scenery. I have improved the default buildings. Terminal A, B, and C, the new tower, have been redone and I included the old toothbrush tower, even though it is slated for destruction soon. Have fun with it. This freeware AI package, produced by Mark Campbell for Military AI Works, contains all 68 Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcons and 5 Northrop F-5 Tigers belonging to the Republic of China Air Force, 401st TFW based at Hualien AFB RCYU. There are four squadrons within the 401st TFW at Hualien AFB; they are the 17st TFG, 26th TFG and the 27th TFG all using the F-16A/B and the 12 TRG using F-16 A/B and RF-5 E. Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas DC-4-1009 PH-DBT. Built at Santa Monica, CA (c/n 42908). Powered by four 1,450 hp Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp 2SD13G or Pratt & Whitney R-2000-11M2 engines. This was the first 'real' DC-4 delivered to KLM on 16 March 1946, following the delivery of 18 ex-USAAF C-54 Skymasters. The aircraft was registered PH-TAT, named 'Twenthe'. On 29 March 1954 PH-TAT was re-registered PH-DBT and sprayed in an attractive modern version of the 'Flying Dutchman' livery. It was sold to Air France on 3 June 1958. After having flown with Trans Europe and Vargas Aviation it was impounded in July 1975 by the government of Niger and stored. The DC-4 has probably been scrapped since. These are textures only. Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 NGAT Douglas C-54A Skymaster. Immediately after WWII had ended in Europe, KLM director Dr. Albert Plesman travelled to the USA. He visited President Harry Truman and succeeded to persuade the President to have a batch of 18 Douglas C-54A Skymasters delivered from the Surplus Property Board, in order to (re-)establish several medium- and long-haul routes and - from February 1946 on - the KLM Indies route from Amsterdam to Jakarta, then named Batavia. For several reasons, a.o. the sensitive political situation with regard to Indonesia (by then still a Dutch colony called Netherlands East Indies), the aircraft were purchased by the Netherlands Government Air Transport and carried military roundels and serial numbers, although they were used as civil aircraft. Later on they were sold on to KLM and received civil registrations. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (dc4_v21.zip). PART 2 - THE PEACETIME YEARS
The post war Aironi retained their AR126 engines all the way to retirement in 1959, but they were modified to have feathering Savoia hydraulic constant speed airscrews which required new controls in the old cockpit. High power then became available for TOGA for the first time allowing take off from smaller harbours during air ambulance sorties, and perhaps overload survivor rescue. The omnipresent problem of engine overspeed disappeared, but the early series Bristol Pegasus engines remained too primitive to have cowl flaps to control engine cooling. The gondola lost its windows and ventral hatch to reduce drag. New navigation equipment and procedures were introduced.

Vadodara International Airport (VABO) for FSX and FS2004.
Virtual aviation community stands basically on the grounds of what happens in the real world aviation and simulates the real thing, virtually. So that means they always have to be a step ahead and we follow. But my friend, we have a chance to make them follow us. Thats right! The proposed (final) integrated terminal at Vadodara shall have its construction commenced in mid of 2013 (the time can be altered, as real dudes define the situation). The design is finalized and here it is ..... the airport is basically " A basin kind".
Vadodara Airport or Civil Airport Harni (IATA: BDQ, ICAO: VABO) is a civilian airport located in the north-east of Vadodara, Gujarat, India in the suburb of Harni. A domestic airport until now, Vadodara Airport will become an international airport once the proposed new terminal is operational.

In November 1966 the Dutch charter operator Transavia Holland started its activities with 2 Douglas DC-6 and 1 Douglas DC-6B aircraft. Despite stiff competition from KLM and Martinair Holland, Transavia was able to conquer a considerable part of the charter and inclusive tours market and expanded its fleet with a several more DC-6B's. In 1968 Transavia became involved in the relief airlift from Sao Tome to Biafra using its fleet of DC-6's. The next year the DC-6's were sold to Flughjalp who continued flying the Biafra missions till January 1970. Featured here are DC-6 PH-TRA (1966 livery) and DC-6 PH-TRB (1968 livery). Today Transavia is a major Dutch low cost and charter airline (owned by Air France-KLM) operating Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft. These are textures only. You will require Jens B.
