FS2004 Scenery - Offutt Air Force Base (Offutt AFB, KOFF) is a U.S. Air Force installation near Omaha in Sarpy County, Nebraska. It is the headquarters of the U.S. Strategic Command, the Air Force Weather Agency, and the 55th Wing. Its legacy includes the construction of the first two bombers to drop atomic bombs and nearly 30 years as the aerial command center for the U.S. in case of nuclear war during the Cold War. The longest is a runway extending 8001 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 799 feet at a distance of about 3 miles from Van Nuys. More than 100 businesses are located on the 730-acre airport, including six major fixed-base operators and numerous aviation service companies. Created with EZ Scenery. It is roughly equidistant from Los Angeles, CA and Santa Barbara, CA although it is inland. The airport has one runway and exclusively serves privately-operated general aviation and executive aircraft with no scheduled commercial service. The paved runway extends for 6010 feet. FS2004 Aircraft-This is a Beagle B206 Bassett (version 4.2.1) for FS2004. It has the usual features of retracting landing gear, animated flaps, elevators, rudders and ailerons, there are also, operating passenger doors and the bare metal finish. Beagle's first completely original design was the attractive Beagle B.206 flown August 15, 1961 as the B.206x.
