F-4S 153809 (MG 01) of VMFA-321 "Hells Angels" stationed at NAF Andrews AFB in 1985. This was the first F-4S accepted by VMFA-321 in November 1984 from the Naval Air Rework Facility (NARF) at MCAS Cherry Point, NC and remained with the squadron until 1991 when it was subsequently assigned to VX-30 at Point Mugu, CA with the modex 108. Probably not exact, just the work of a Phormer Phantom Phixer from VMFA-321 and VMFP-3 having some Phun. Special Thanks to Gus Robatto for allowing me to use his Tex2 texture. ©ALPHA Simulations 2004\n\n

|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
FS2004 scenery for Erding Air Base, Southern Germany. Erding was turned over to Allied control after the second world war and served for many years as home to first the U.S. 440th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, and then the 52nd Tactical Fighter Group. When the 52nd withdrew in 1971 the base served as a rotation point for various NATO units finally becoming a repair and upgrade center for the then-new Typoon Eurofighter. Serving Southern Germany for over 50 years, the base now faces an uncertain future due to plans for a high-speed rail connection through the property. Scenery includes custom 3-D objects as well as seasonal photo-groundcover.

| CYHD - Dryden Regional - Ontario, Canada * Updated v2 * |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This greatly modifies my previous (2009) post of Dryden; this version has bespoke buildings and is stand-alone and does not require you to have the previous post. There will also be follow-up posts of Sioux Lookout and Geraldton. Dryden is in northern Ontario, 110 miles east of the Manitoba border, 40 miles west of Sioux Lookout, and with the US border 90 miles to the south. The town is on the northern shore of Wabigoon Lake and has a population of around 7,800. The main business is pulp and paper, along with agriculture, tourism, and mining. The airport is 5 miles northeast of the town.
Dryden Regional has 6,000' of asphalt which in FS9 is aligned 11-29. The second runway is compacted sand 2,000' long and aligned 05-23. There are two aprons, the western being for the terminal building and some ga parking, and the eastern larger and used in the summer for parking fire fighting planes, along with maintenance hangarage and accomodation etc. The Ontario Fire Service planes were included with my original Geraldton post and are included here again; they fly back and forth and keep Dryden busy along with several Bearskin Airlines and Perimeter Aviation flights.

| PMDG C-40A clipper US NAVY |
|
File Description:
You must own the PMDG B737-600/700 aircraft for these textures to work.
These textures are for use with PMDG B737-700 with airstairs no winglets to be used in fs9,
textures where saved in 32bit with alpha channels aplied.
The textures in this file represent the real US NAVY C-40A clipper,of VR58/VR59 squadrons, which is based on the B737-700,
but with strengthened wings and u/c from the B737-800.
the PMDG B737-700 aircraft paintkit,as been reworked,in order to get this repaint scheme done, from photos on airliners net,
as a guide, the mods are extra panel lines on the 4 main doors,to represent the hinged top and bottom sections,
forward sevice door as been repositioned,so it is in line with the internal door, and the panel lines for the
main port forward cargo door added, windows and blank window frames, altered to represent those on the C-40A clipper.
Night textures and alpha channels modied to the same.
the aircraft represented are JV829/832/834 of VR-58 squadron (sunseekers) and
RY830/831/832/833 of VR-59 squadron (lonestar express).
There is a bit of confusion, over aircraft reg and nose names, because the aircraft where swapped squadrons,832 is one example.
i have included read me and instruction files, and jpegs to give help on getting these to work.

| SPAD XIII Rickenbacker |
|
File Description:
This is a repaint (textures only) for the SPAD VII 1916 by Stuart Green. You can get it here: http://www.domicilium.com/peveril/hangar/planes/SPAD_VII.htm
Thank you Stuart for this beautifully crafted plane!
This repaint represents the
SPAD XIII S4523 of Capt. Edward V. Rickenbacker, 94th Aero Squadron, September 1918. Eddie Rickenbacker scored victories seven through twenty-six in his famous Keilner-built SPAD XIII, this repaint represents as it looked on 24 September 1918. On 25 September, Rickenbacker sent one of five Fokker D VIIs down out of control, and then shot down one of the two Halberstadt two-seaters they were escorting. Rickenbacker was belatedly awarded the Medal of Honor for this action on 6 November 1930.
