FS2004 ALPHA BLEU CIEL French Chance Vought F4U-7 Corsair.The F4U-7 was the last corsairs produced. The F4U-7 was produced exclusively for the French Navy at Vought’s plant in Grand Prairie. A total of 94 planes were produced between 1952 and 1963. The F4U-7 was basically an updated version of the F4U-1B with AU-1’s structure powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-2800-43. The F4U-7 has a maximum speed of 440 mph (382 knots). France has used the F4U-7 in Indochina, Suez and Algeria.Two models made completely in Gmax with dynamic shine, reflective textures, full suspension, animated gear, flaps, cowls flaps, opening cockpit, wing fold, tail hook, custom 2D panel, working VC and includes two liveries. 3D Model, virtual cockpit & textures Guy Hulin. File Description:
Emsdale is on Hwy 11 about midway between North Bay and Lake Simcoe. A mile north of the town is Emsdale airfield CNA4, with two grass runways that are 12/30 2,500 feet long, and 17/35 2,000 feet long. There is only one hangar, no fuel, and in general there does not appear to be a lot of action. "Grass" may be a generous description of the runway surface, particularly for 12/30.
The second field is two miles southwest of Emsdale and privately owned. It has 2,700 feet or so of asphalt runway and a parallel grass runway (which is short at under 800 feet, plus a hangar at the north end!). There are six buildings, between hangars and office or club house and that about sums up all I know about it. If anyone knows more about this field please let me know.

JetBlue Airways, the official airline sponsor of the Boston Red Sox, unveiled this A320-232 bearing the Boston Red Sox logos and became the first commercial aircraft to officially wear a Major League Baseball uniform/logo. Here's a description taken from JetBlue's press release regarding the details included on this aircraft; "this special A320 trades its signature JetBlue branding for a gray paint scheme inspired by the classic Red Sox road uniforms complete with blue wing fences with the Red Sox 'B'and a gray tail featuring the team's iconic dangling red socks. The aircraft also includes a banner (below the pilot's windows) commemorating Fenway Park's 100th anniversary alongside the JetBlue and Red Sox logos." I hope all you MLB fans and Boston Red Sox fans enjoy flying this wonderful aircraft as much as I did creating it. Repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete install package. The Project Airbus A320 V2.1 model and air files are included. Uses default 737-400 panel and sounds. Please see Readme.txt for more details.

In Sydney, the distinctive art-deco style AWA Office Building and radio-broadcast transmission tower, depicted as it was in the early 1940's, with the original AWA sign.
Also in Sydney, and from the same era, the terminal building at Rose Bay Flying Boat Base.
And from Karumba, in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Northern Territory, the two central buildings of the Civil Aviation Authority's support base built for the new Empire route; the staff quarters and the aeradio centre, circa 1938.

File Description:
This package represents the *proposed* route and timetable to be flown by P-38 "Glacier Girl" and P-51 "Miss Velma" on their trip to the United Kingdom in June 2007. Both aircraft were to appear at the Flying Legends Air Show at Duxford on the weekend of 7th. - 8th. July 2007, with "Miss Velma" remaining in Britain with her new owners. This trip - 'Bolero 2' (the original WW2 operations were named 'Bolero') - was to see the P-38 finally complete its delivery flight some 65 years after it left the USA. However, "Glacier Girl" suffered a major engine problem and whilst "Miss Velma" went on alone, the P-38 had to remain behind in the USA and never made it to the Duxford Air Show. Installation instructions are in the ReadMe.

File Description:
This FS2004 (FS9) flight replicates the route taken by Ansett-ANA's Viscount VH-RMK (previously Continental Airlines' N241V) when it was delivered - by an Ansett crew - from Omaha, Nebraska to Essendon airport, Melbourne.
The crew consisted of Cpt. C. Lister (in command), Cpt. D. Bull, First Officer J. Farrell, Navigator W. Kennedy and Flt. Engineer J. Howard.
The flight commenced on the morning of September 17th. 1960 and took 12 days, the route being across the continental United States to Chicago, thence to Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland, United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, UAR, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Phillipines, Indonesia and finally Australia.
You may wonder why they took the "long way round" rather than ferry the aircraft across the Pacific route: very simply, the Viscount did not have the range required to safely transit the distances between the only refuelling points available down through the Pacific Ocean.
A ReadMe with the simple installation instructions and historical information is included.

They will guide you to some of the remote farm strips in the west of New Zealand's North Island.
There you can take the challenge of getting airborne in a fully-laden agplane by falling off a cliff. Then deliver your payload over designated farmland. And land (and stop in time) at the next strip to pick up another load.
