Flight Simulator Scenery Tutorial - How to decompile, edit, and recompile default scenery object BGL files

File Description:
This is a simple tutorial in a dual format, one HTML for web-based reading and the other for reading within Microsoft Word. The tutorial contains a thorough, step-by-step process on editing default scenery object BGL files within Flight Simulator. It covers everything from the task of decompiling the stock BGL file using BGLXML or NewBGLAnalyze, editing it using SceneGenX scenery Generator and Notepad, and recompiling the source code XML into a BGL file again by using the BGLCOMP SDK. This tutorial was the result of a request by a fellow scenery creator, in combination to my quest for further increasing the realism of one of Flight Simulator's stock airports (Sanderson Field, Shelton, WA). There's specific instructions, and a final word on the touchy topic of editing stock BGL files contained within the tutorial as well.

Super VC10 Panel upgrade Part 8.1

File Description:
This additional update for David Maltby's Super VC10 model contains a handfull of small enhancements and tweaks, requiring download of the previous updates 1 to 8. Some small tweaks have been made to the aircraft.cfg and sound.cfg. When the passenger and galley doors are open you will now hear real ambient passenger sounds. The original released sound has been reworked and is also less repetitive. No fake sounds here as they are taken from inside a real VC10! There is also an "Easter Egg". It is dependant on certain conditions and will require some intelligent flying. Enjoy.

Russian MiG-28 Top Gun

File Description:
The MiG-28 is nothing more then an F-5/T-38 in the Movie Top Gun. MiG's all have odd mumbers, for example, MiG-15, 17, 19, etc. These are textures for the FSD International T-38. It is BOTH FS2004 and FS2002 compatible. The FSD T-38 comes with a panal, but I recommend some sound. Douglas DC-3 New zealand National Airways Corporation ZK-AWP

File Description:
The DC-3 ZK-AWP served with New Zealand National Airways Corporation from July 1952, and was one of the last DC-3s retired from their fleet. Initially operated as 'Powhaitere', the aircraft was named 'Kaitaia' after conversion to 'Skyliner' status in May 1963. She has more recently been fully restored in these colours. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, the model includes transparent cockpit and cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Default panel and sound.

South African Airways Boeing 727-44 NC fictional

File Description:
With Erick Cantu and Vistaliners' agreement, Historic Jetliners Group is now hosting the entire Vistaliners 727 range. The required 727-100 base packs can be downloaded from the HJG website at http://www.simviation.com/hjg/. HJG have produced aircraft specific and authentic FDE's for these aircraft as well as custom made sound packs and a tweaked Tin Mouse 727 panel with Richard Probst's permission. Please visit the HJG forum for more information. Included in this repaint package is my optional automatic wing and flap tip vortices effects and engine smoke upgrade. See screenshots included. Gray AAF/Madigan AMC

File Description:
Gray Army Air Field, Washington, a small auxillary airfield used by Ft Lewis, near Tacoma, Washington. This package also includes Ft. Lewis' Madigan Army Medical Center with it's helipad. The airfield has hangars, fuel pits, vehicles, water, radar, and radio towers, administration and living quarters, and custom US Army signage. This package contains 12 helipads on the field and at Madigan with the South Puget Sound area to explore, a helo pilot's dream location. Includes custom buildings for this location. Requires NOVA textures (separate download, but freeware) Fourth in the US Army Virtual series by Kyle Ramsey, tested in FS2002 only.

1st Austrian DC-3 Dakota Club OE-LBC Douglas DC-3

The 1st Austrian DC-3 Dakota Club's OE-LBC (c/n 13073, USAAF 42-93189, 20/4/1944, N86U from 1956) is the only DC-3 in Austria today and is operated as a private enthusiasts' club. Iberia Airbus A320-200

File Description:
Project Airbus is proud to present the Airbus A320, version 2. Contains accurate model with details such as: opening passenger and cargo doors, animated pack inlets and outflow valves, all operetable control surfaces, detailed flap tracks and slat rails, hydraulics modelled on spoilers and landing gear doors. This package includes the model, textures, default panel and sound and all necessary files to fly this aircraft.
