long haul flightplans to and from NYC

File Description:
Here are some possible flightplans for TG 793[KJFK to VTBS] and SQ21/SQ22[WSSS-KEWR vv] flown with the A340-500. Thai and Singapore Airlines use about 12 different routings either eastbound or westbound for these longhaul non stop flights to and from New York, mainly depending on weather systems en route. Up to 4 hours before departure can be decided wich route to be flown as best cost/fuel/time efficient.

Singapore Airlines Cabin Crew Announcement for use with FDSFXPNL. This is the actual safety recording from their Boeing B777-200ER, perfect for pushback and upon arrival on the desired destination particularly at Changi International Airport (WSSS). You should have the FDSFXPNL.zip for this to work (download that file first before you can use the mp3 files) This file also contains Boarding and Inflight Music from Singapore Airlines. WSSS - Singapore Changi International Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 AFCAD file

File Description:
This file is a 2 overlay for Changi International Airport Singapore. The file "wsss2.txt" is for Terminal 1, and the file "2wss2.txt" is for Terminal 2. All aircraft for Terminal 1 will be using runway 2L/20R, while for Terminal 2 they will use 2R/20L. This is to avoid 'traffic-jams' on the ground if you happen to have a lot of AI airplanes. I have also split the "GROUND" frequencies for the two terminal, so as to avoid congestion in the "GROUND" communication frequency. In addition, this is to hopefully avoid the GROUND sending airplanes to the wrong side of the airport for parking. The gates have been numbered according to real life (approximately).

Been Air VA Airbus A320-232

File Description:
iFDG's brilliant A320-200 in Been Air colours. Been Air is a regional subsidiary of Star Alliance member Singapore Airlines, and sister airline to Silkair and LCC Tiger Airways. Been Air is the founding member of the Raffles Alliance, partnership with Falcon Lines, which takes care of the long haul sector. Both companies operate out of Singapore Changi Intl Airport (SIN/WSSS). This aircraft comes with both of Been Air's A320s, registered 9V-BNA ('Been Here') / 9V-BNB ('Been There') and operated mainly to Pekanbaru, Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Instructions included in the Zip file. Livery created by CEO and Capt Bertrand Na, mainly painted by the wonderful painter Vincent v/d Hof, and has been edited and updated (with Raffles Alliance logo) by Bertrand Na. Enjoy!

Myanmar Airways International - Summer 2007

File Description:
Myanmar Airways International took off in August 1993, the result of a joint venture between Myanma Airways and Singapore interests with the support of Royal Brunei Airlines. In October 1998 that original joint venture was terminated with Myanma Airways taking total ownership. Subsequently in January 2001 a new joint venture was formed and a new aircraft livery was rolled out. Operating from Yangon (VYYY) to Kuala Lumpur (WMKK) and Bangkok (VTBS) using their single MD-82, Myanmar Airways International also participate in a number of code share agreements, most notably being their flights to Singapore (WSSS) operated by Jetstar Asia. As FS9 does not include VTBS by default, if you have not installed an AFCAD or scenery for this new airport install the alternate flightplan set included instead.

File Description:
Package 11 of the "Jetways & Terminals" program with 2 new and 7 updated sceneries: EDDH Hamburg Fuhlsbuettel (update with improved terminal area), KLGA La Guardia Airport (new detailed airport scenery), VTBS Bangkok Suvarnabhumi (correctly positioned update with new towers and other smaller improvements), WSSS Singapore Changi (update now with new Budget Terminal), ZGGG Guangzhou New Baiyun (correctly positioned and aligned update with improved terminal & changed ICAO code from previous "ZGBY" to correct "ZGGG"), ZGKL Guilin Liangjiang (new airport scenery), ZGSD Zhuhai Sanzao (correctly positioned and aligned update), ZGSZ Shenzhen Huangtian (update with minor changes to terminal), ZSPD Shanghai Pudong (update now with new 2nd runway). Airbus A359ULR

File Description:
Sinapore Airlines is the launch customer for the A359ULR. The aircraft is configured in a two-class layout, with 67 Business Class seats and 94 Premium Economy Class seats. She is designed for long range flights of over 9,700 nm. Fuel has been increased at the expense of souls on board. The primary use will initially be for routes between WSSS and KJFK (or KLGA), but many others of similar distance can be added later. The flight number on this aircraft reflects the first flight from KJFK-WSSS which is only 8,275 nm (Contrary to media reports of over 9,000 nm) and about 17.5 hours duration (see You Tube video on this flight). The aircraft follows normal flight rules with a higher flight level and longer range. Almost everything is computer controlled and monitored throughout the flight, from take-off to landing. Two of Four pilots monitor the flight at all times, and shift changes occur on a schedule that allows appropriate rest for the crew. The passengers enjoy accommodations unlike provided in any other aircraft or flight, with plenty of meal servings and entertainment options.
