| Island in the Sky Douglas C-47 Skytrain USAF 'Corsair' |

File Description:
Based on original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set is a representation of the fictional USAF C-47 flown by John Wayne as Dooley in the 1953 classic film, "Island in the Sky". It is intended to complement an article written by Harold "Farmboyzim" Zimmer for the December 2007 issue of "Computer Pilot" magazine. The texture set requires the base R4D-6/DC-3A package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org, together with two subsequent free C-47 enhancements to that product. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of C-121 Phoenix 6. It was built with c/n 4125 in 1953 and went to the US Navy as an R7V-1 with BuNo 131624. It was assigned to VX-6 in 1958, coded JD and named "Phoenix 6". It was used anually for Operation Deep Freeze, supply flights from New Zealand to McMurdo Sound on Antarctica between 1958 and 1971. She was put up for sale, but when there were no takers, she was scrapped in 1971. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

Can Tho International Airport (IATA: VCA, ICAO: VVCT) (Vietnamese: Sân bay Quốc tế Cần Thơ), formerly Trà Nóc Airport is an airport located in Can Tho in Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.
The airport was inaugurated on January 1, 2011 and received US$150 million to build on 20,750 square metres (223,400 sq ft) of land, and can process up to 5 million passengers a year. It will serve air travel in the region, boost Mekong Delta's economy, improving defence, security and international integration.
There are Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, VASCO, Thai Vietjet Air flying from and to here everyday.
