Douglas C-47 Skytrain for AI traffic. This is an iconic aircraft of aviation history, both in civilian and military use; and a few examples are still flying here and there to this day, after nearly seven decades of service. This model set contains variants representing the C-47, the RAF Dakota, the civilian DC-3, and naval R4D variants. Two models and twelve repaints are included in this package; as are both Photoshop and PSP paint kits. Base models by Jake Burrus, all painting by Michael Pearson.

File Description:
All former versions of the C-5 have completed the conversion to C-5M, to date. They include more efficient engines with more power, a glass cockpit, longer range and heavier lift capabilities. Other than those aspects, they look the same as before. VERY BIG!!! She is the largest cargo aircraft operated by the U.S. Air Force and several other countries who have purchased her. I suggest reading about this aircraft on-line, and watching a few You Tube videos before your first flight, but do as you wish. She is very easy to fly, and all C-5M pilots agree with this statement. This version is based at Dover AFB, and the callsign is real. The refurbished aspects of this FSX model include extremely realistic engine/aerodynamics as well as payload distribution. The landing gear have also been corrected for realism. What this plane does in the simulator is what it does realistically. The panel is close to real, but takes time to understand and use properly. The sounds used are very realistic, so no need to change that unless you feel the need to do so. Flying her is pretty easy. If you are a Real World C-5 Pilot, you will find this version is very accurate. Read the text document enclosed entitled "Readmenow" after unzipping the file.

Note: All gauge click functions are accessed from the 2D gauge only.

- Simulated Turbine Inlet Temperature (T.I.T.)
- Virtual Cockpit installation
- Access to 2D panel via VC click-spot (Radio Stack)
- T.I.T. follow for Take-off, climb and cruise
- Display toggle (top): T.I.T., Cruise Ceiling and Current Elevator Trim
- Display toggle (bottom): Engine Torque, Engine Fuel Flow and True Airspeed (knots)
- T.I.T. follow will disconnect when altitude hold is selected and climb temperature is above 900°C
