File Description:
FS2004/FSX Super Flight Planner 4.0.5 by Alessandro G. Antonini. This is a very advanced Flight Planner featuring a state of the art Moving Map (drawn using either vector layers or a bitmapped texture, zoom-in, zoom-out, zoom-window, pan, rotation and globe projections), DP-STAR and Airways support plus a lot of import/export options (can import and export from a lot of 3rd party tools such as Radar Contact, MS-GPS and supports data formats such as XML and CSV). May create simple Flight Plans using a Wizard or more advanced manual Plans with or without autorouting. Awesome GPS display through FSUIPC. Freeware.

Base pack for the "Convair CV-240 VBF reloaded" in CA-18 version, the famous American short haul
airliner from the fifties. This is a reloaded Gmax rendition based on the Calclassic Convair (by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson), but it is no longer compatible with that model. Base for further CA-18 add-ons prepared by VBF. Includes visual model and textures for the first CV-240 ever built in 1947 (Reg.-ID NX90846) and painted in the house colors of Consolidated Aircraft. Chance-Vought F-8 Crusader (Expansion & Service Pack). This is a service pack to fix a few small-but-glaring errors in a couple of my release packages for this aircraft.
To compensate the fans, I am throwing in an additional 8 new models and 50 paints across most of the variants. This is a drop-in-and-overwrite update to all four of my original F-8 AI traffic packages, which must be installed first. Please read the documentation for fixes, additions, and manual install instructions if desired. Base model and paint by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael McIntyre.

No more fiddling with throttle controls to find that sweet spot! Throttle levers are uniformly and smoothly operated. No more fiddling with throttle controls to ensure uniform thrust! Version 1.5.1 fixes some tug path following issues, and adds support for tail draggers.

This is a complete package and my appreciation and thanks goes out to Pierino Primavesi for his liberal permission to work with his files. Animated model, flight model, 2D-panel, XML-metric-gauges, virtual cockpit and cabin, instrument lightning, reflective texture, html check/ref lists, html manual. The plane is perfectly flyable from inside the 3D cockpit. I also wish to thank Herb "Lizardo" Morse for his dynamics tweaks.
It is not necessary but I HIGHLY recommend downloading Mr. Primavesi's original model with numerous historical liveries, filename ju52v60.zip; available in the avsim file library. The textures are 32-bit format with no mip-maps to preserve image clarity. Enjoy!
