Douglas DC-3 Four Fuel Tank Conversion Kit

File Description:
The default FS2004 DC-3 is configured for three fuel tanks, whereas by design the C-47/DC-3 had four from which to draw. Many airlines using the DC-3 commercially blanked off, removed or never installed one tank in order to maximise payload; they were usually operating shorter routes than were typical of the C-47 in military service, This conversion kit gives the option of restoring the aircraft to four-tank configuration, giving greater range for long duration flights. Offering realistic fuel management, this option can replace your default configuration or, alternatively, add four-tank aircraft to your DC-3 collection. Note that this file will only be of use to those pilots who like to set up fuel and payload properly before a flight; pilots using default FS settings of maximum fuel and full payload will find that the aircraft is over maximum takeoff weight in this configuration.

ROC (Taiwan) AF Lockheed TF-104G Starfighter

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Lockheed TF-104G Starfighter in the livery of 12th Reconnaissance Unit, 499th Tactical Fighter Wing, ROC (Taiwan) Air Force. Models and textures included. Gauges and effects from the original package (F-104J.zip) required. Original package by Kazunori Ito, Simone Pratticò, Erick Cantu, JR, Manolo Machuca Medina, Jim Johnson, and Gianfranco Michele. Repainted by Mike Huang.

This aircraft, manufacturer serial 63-08458 and ROCAF number 4186, was formerly number 2760 at the Luftwaffe. It had the distinction of being the "last Starfighter" in ROCAF, for having participated in the last flying mission of the entire fleet on May 8, 1998. It also appeared during the decommissioning ceremony on May 22, 1998, where two pilots turned on its engine and taxiied the aircraft for the last time. From May 17, 1960, when the first F-104A and B were delivered, Starfighters served with the ROCAF for 38 long years.

Ghana Airways has been a major carrier in Africa for many years, and has been poorly represented in the flight sim world for a long time. Now you can rectify this and fill the lonely simulated African skies.Everything you need is included in this pack except for the repaints which are avaliable from Project AI where you will have to download them from the unofficial packages site.This package contains, AFCAD files, Flightplans and a Voicepac mod for Fan Air a new Ghanaian carrier. Textures in the Ghana Airways Full package at Project AI include 2 Ghana Airways F70 repaints,1 Ghana Airways/Air Force F50 repaint,a Fan Air Beech 1900D paint, and last but not least 3 Ghana Airways DC9 repaints.All the repaints were created by Vladimir Svobda. Virgin Express Boeing 737-400s

File Description:
Virgin Express are a smal low-fare airline operating out of Brussels National airport. They are part of the world-wide company, Virgin, created by Richard Branson. The first plane in this twin pack is Boeing 737-400 OO-VEJ, it started life in 1989 with Braathens SAFE as LN-BRB. Virgin Express leased the aircraft in 1999 and still do to this present day as OO-VEJ . The second aircraft is OO-VES, it started life in 1996 with China Airlines as B-18676. In 1998 it went to Virgin Express Ireland as EI-TVB, this didn't last long and it was transfered to Austrailia in 2001 to work for Virgin Blue as VH-VGE. In 2003 it was sent back to Virgin Express and worked as OO-VES, it currently wheres Tsunami Support titles. Fuerza Aerea Argentina Douglas C-47A-90-DL T-20

File Description:
Fuerza Aerea Argentina C-47A-90-DL T-20,C/N 20158 builded by the Long Beach production plant for the USAAF as 43-15692.Ex NC60942,Aerolineas Argentinas LV-ADF,and latter with the FAA also as TC-20.Saled to Chile, preserved today as CC-CLK with the Museo Nacional de Aeronautica de Chile.The Fuerza Aerea Argentina take the first 16 C-47s in service in 1947;by 1966 Aerolíneas Argentinas DC-3 were retired of service and taked in charge by the Fuerza Aerea Argentina inventory.Not less of 38 C-47s were listed with the FAA fleet. Some planes were latter transfered to Bolivia and Paraguay. The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont,original textures are by Jan Visser.Repainted by Daniel Nole.In order to use these textures, you must already have the MAAM-SIM payware DC3 and the MAAM-SIM D-Day C-47 'Skytrain' and Dakota Mk III Expansion Pack installed in your FS2004 aircraft folder.

This issue is packed with some useful tips and how-to's, valuable web-site links and much, much more. The "From the E-mail bag" segment explores several ways to recover disk space and there is a special interview with a prolific author of FS scenery. You will also find a Bonus File which will make the startup of a reviewed aircraft considerably easier. Look for a special Holiday recommendation (for kids of all ages). I have even thrown in a bit of Aviation humor. An updated index for the entire series (by John Burford) is also included. Hopefully you will find something of use, be you a "newbie" or a long time simmer. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder.
