File Description:
St Michael Island is 50 miles southwest of Unalakleet, an island that in fact appears to be a cape and a firmly attached piece of the mainland. On the island there are two villages, St Michael on the northeast corner and Stebbins on the northwest. St Michael has a new airfield that is west of the village by around a mile or so, with a gravel runway 4,000 feet long. The old and now closed airport was known as SMK, and is now readily identifiable by the new red-roofed school building that occupies the centre of the runway. The new airfield now has an icao code of PAMK, but FS9 does not readily accept icao code changes so we are stuck with the original code it was given, 5S8. The SMK icao of the old airport will still show on your gps as if I deleted it the runway would also have to be deleted, and a substitute and unsatisfactory gravel apron made to impersonate a runway. Stebbins is 5 miles west of St Michael and next to the shore, a smaller village than St Michael with around 250 inhabitants. The airfield is at the southern end of the village and has a gravel runway that is 3,000 feet long. The icao code is WBB. There is no AI included here as it was already included in the post of Shaktoolik. There is a correction here for Shaktoolik, which I now find should have had a blue garage, not a red one; I wrongly named a photo. A note here about my scenery making. This is post number 501 and there will not be many more to follow this as I am almost at the end of the photos I took or found for scenery purposes. There is a limit to what can be located online and I have already been making use of the little there is; eg Unalakleet. So, if you are near an airfield (preferably Canadian or Alaskan) and have a camera..... Let me know.

File Description:
N8346H was a resident of Van Nuys, Californ-I-A. . Built in 1981, she now is owned by Mcpc LLC, a mobile phone accessory company of Wilmington, Delaware. Her main claim to fame though was a prominent role in season 3, episode 3(Always Kiss them Goodbye) of the TV show: The Unit. (2007) It was 'flown' by Scott Foley, as Staff Sergeant Bob Brown who was chasing a 'terrorist' in piper cub with a bio-weapon. Technical aspects (airspeeds, altitudes, etc) were a normal Hollywood stretch, but the air to air photography was nice. The aerial stunt work was good. N8346H was on screen almost 50% of the episode.

File Description:
FS 2002 Flight Assistant is a program for flight enthusiasts that provides a virtual co-pilot. You can give commands using a microphone which the co-pilot executes then. For example, one could give the command "flaps up", and then the flaps will be raised automatically. Furthermore, the co-pilot responds to your commands, so that you receive a confirmation. The program is nearly fully configurable. You are able to create new commands and even to edit the existing ones. An optional "power" key lets the PC only recognize commands when you press and hold down a certain key.
New in version 1.3: Support for multiple languages (currently available: English, French, German), a printable command list, a tray icon and some other minor changes.
(Needs Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime and Microsoft Speech (SAPI) 5.1!)

TIGER UHT
The UHT (from Unterstützungshubschrauber Tiger; Ger. supporting helicopter Tiger) is a medium-weight multi-role fire support helicopter built for the Bundeswehr (German Army).The Tiger UHT is a multi-role fire support helicopter. The Trigat Fire and Forget missiles and/or the Hot missiles it carries offer anti-tank capability, while 68-mm rockets ensure air-to-ground fire support. A 12.7 mm air-to-air gun pod and air-to-air Stinger missiles can also be installed. The helicopter also features a mast-mounted sight with a second-generation IRCCD infrared channel and a TV channel, as well as a nose-mounted IRCCD control FLIR for the pilot. FS2004 Scenery - Murray Field (IATA: EKA, ICAO: KEKA, FAA LID: EKA) is a county-owned public-use airport in Humboldt County, California, United States. Murray Field Airport serves Eureka and Humboldt County. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 3000 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 7 feet at a distance of about 3 miles from Eureka. The airport is primarily used for general aviation. Also FedEx Express utilizes the small airport as a stop for package delivery from and to Humboldt County. Murray Field was first established in 1919 by pilot Dayton Murray, and was later renamed in his honor. It has a restaurant and a charter service, Northern Air, as well as a Civil Air Patrol office.
