File Description:
The virtual airfield includes several buildings such as a hangar, a restaurant, a club house, military shelters, a playground and stationary cars. The surrounding area of Reichenbach has been populated with autogens: From the lake of Thoune down to Gemmi pass South of Kandersteg, and up until Adelboden to the West. Moreover, there is a high-voltage power line from Gemmi pass to the Gürbe valley, which should help during visual flight.
The scenery has been designed in Gmax and optimized for the mesh of Switzerland Professional. In order to save system performance, a series of LODS have been created.

This is a repaint of an actual Bellanca Viking that resides in Germany and can be found photographed in several places on the web. The actual aircraft is emmaculate and is an excellent example of a Viking. This paint kit features the exterior gold and burgandy paint scheme with a new white leather interior, lite gray panel, and a new outfit for the optinal female pilot 'Kate', who now sports a natural German 'blonde' hair style. This release has a fully active, animated pilots virtual cockpit on the Armed, Clean and Fuel models, there is also a fully active, animated navigators virtual cockpit on the NavEx model. This enables you to simulate a flight training exercise as the navigator from the back seat. Take offs and landings can be done from the 2D pilots cockpit.
Dave Friswell has fine tuned the air files for all 3 versions of this A/C so they all fly a little differently depending on configuration.
Extra pilot animations and texture improvements have also been added along with some extra A/C detail.

Tips and Tricks - 24 - The FINAL issue. Issue number 24 officially brings to an end the Tips and Tricks for FS2004 series. This issue is packed with some useful tips and how-to's, valuable web-site links and much, much more. The "From the E-mail bag" segment explores several ways to recover disk space and there is a special interview with a prolific author of FS scenery. You will also find a Bonus File which will make the startup of a reviewed aircraft considerably easier. Look for a special Holiday recommendation (for kids of all ages). I have even thrown in a bit of Aviation humor. An updated index for the entire series (by John Burford) is also included. Hopefully you will find something of use, be you a "newbie" or a long time simmer. Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary folder. Though this model was initially ment for low-end computers with X-Plane9 it happens to be a very nice model to be used with X-Plane10 as well.
Adding normalmapping to this model resulted in a bit more realistic looking little bird,wich is absolutely a thrill to fly.
No feet needed this time its a pedal-less plane.
How to implement?
If you do not have the plane already, download it from XPFR and install it first.
Unzip USA_Ercoupe.zip into a temp. folder.
Now you`ll find in this folder:
a map called "american125196"
a texture file named"ercoupe_EXT_nml.png"
a PDF file named "american125196_README FDF"
Start reading this PDF carefully!!

File Description:
Bernard Harbour was a DEW line "iStation" (a small station with a staff of 5 or 7 people) on the nothern mainland coast 75 miles north of Kugluktuk, and 45 miles west of Lady Franklin Point. It closed in 1963. The slowly deteriorating buildings are still there, along with a fallen radio communications mast. The runway is also still there and has 3,040 feet of gravel, aligned 122T/302T. There is now no runway lighting, no signage, no windsock, and the bushes growing amid the gravel are winning, though slowly. In 1991 a North Warning System (NWS) automated station was established 3 miles to the southwest and there is a second smaller runway there (1,450 feet) along with a helicopter pad. A road joins the two sites for when diesel resupply is undertaken from a ship in the summer, and the zigzag route is (in reality) dictated by the numerous ponds that are too small to be picked up by Ultimate Terrain.
