| "Twenty Thousand Miles in a Flying-boat", by Sir Alan Cobham |

File Description:
In 1927, Sir Alan Cobham, pioneer of aerial refuelling and adventuring aviator, undertook a survey flight around Africa. He was accompanied by his wife, Gladys, and four crewmen: Worrall, the second pilot; Green and Conway, engineers; and Bonnett, cameraman.
The aircraft was a Short S.5 Singapore MkI, a twin-engined, single-fin, open cockpit version of the later four-engine, triple-finned, closed-cockpit Singapore MkIII which entered RAF service. There was only ever one MkI and when Cobham completed his journey it was returned to the Air Ministry, who had loaned it to Sir Alan.
The adventurers departed Rochester, on the River Medway, in the morning of 17th. November 1927 and returned in May of 1928,after a trip of over 20,000 air-miles and one which involved numerous trials and tribulations, delays and frustrations.
The book, published in 1931, provides in-depth detail of the flight so what I've done with this package is to create a blog that will provide updates for each day of the journey undertaken by Cobham and crew.

FSX Scenery FRENCH POLYNESIA TUAMOTU ARCHIPELAGO SCENERY Part A
This scenery improves specific area (Tuamotu Archipelago) of FSX.
The archiperago scattered in the northeast of Tahiti island is composed of 78 islands.
I reproduced the 52 islands in the archipelago as add-on senery.
They are islands like a beautiful necklace sprinkled in the tropical ocean.
The French Polynesia Tuamotu Archipelago Scenery X Part A (Tuamotu-X_A)
includes west side of the whole archipelago because of the file size.
This scenery requires Tuamotu-X_B scenery (fpta-xb.zip).
Please be sure to download the Tuamotu-X_B.
When the Tuamotu-X_B scenery is installed together with this scenery,
the huge Tuamotu Archipelago including all of "The Chain Islands" will appear.

Windows XP allows mutiple "boot" profiles in which you can disable hardware and peripheral devices that may not be needed while playing games such as FS2004. The theory is that if Windows does not need to load every hardware device you have, more computer resources will be available for your game. Carleton Place was modelled a year ago and posted. This version has a new grass background which is more realistic and also supports winter snow. This is the first in an updated series of sceneries around Ottawa, and it replaces entirely the previous version, which should be deleted.
