Rotating Beacon - a Tutorial. Here's how to easily add the default FS2004 Rotating Beacon to any airport or location. This is an UPDATE which includes several important clarifications. Unzip to a temporary location (with folder option checked) and follow the easy instructions. All required files are included. For FS2004 only. Compiled in .doc and .pdf formats by David "Opa" Marshall - instructions and XML file from fellow simmers on the Avsim Scenery Design forum.

This is a modified real-world kneeboard checklist for the FS2004 Carenado Piper Cherokee 180F (payware). It is in large font, clear and concise. Includes startup from cold & dark to shutdown, as well as a handy 'reference speed' section in a clear, easy to read table format. Installation is simple and the original Carenado checklist is included in the download. It is not intended for printing, but rather for the FS2004 kneeboard.

This repaint is of a particular Baron B56T as requested by a member of the SIMV forums, and is for the Default FS2004 Baron B58 as we couldnt find a suitable B56T!. Ive used the excellent Beech Baron 58 Repaint Kit by Chris Klein and Bob Hayes. Any errors are mine and mine alone, although ive tried my hardest to be as accurate as possible. 32bit.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Project Opensky Boeing 737 model in the Alaska Airlines/Dreamliner Livery. This airplane marked the end of an era for Alaska Airlines Mad Dogs, making their fleet exclusively Boeing. Includes custom camera views (not tested in FS2004). Instructions are included for installation for FSX and FS2004. No extra files are needed as this is a complete package. Higher resolution images can be seen using Avsim's zipdive feature.

Requires Garrish Gray's Tree Library and
Rwy 12 Object Library.
Lago FS Enhancer for 2004 and some
EZ-Scenery libraries required for added
sounds and objects, but not required for
general scenery.
Tested on FS2004 with 38m mesh only.

FS2004 Short Hythe. The Short Hythe was a civil conversion of the Short Sunderland III patrol flying boat of WW2 fame. A number of Sunderlands served BOAC from 1943, and 22 of them were converted to proper airliners in 1946. Many of them were taken over by Aquila Airways in 1948-49, and served into the 1950's. The Viking served with BEA and many other airlines until the middle of the 1960's. Three variants (Viking 1A, 1 and 1B) with textures for BEA (three variants), SAS, DDL, Airwork, BWIA and Indian National Airways are included.
