The Freightshifters 2013 brings you 9 AFCAD's for Nicaragua for FS2004 - Included in this pack are AFCAD's based on Google Earth images where possible and best guess interpretation of most of the obscure Airfields and Dirt Strips listed in FS2004. They include basic Parking, Traffic Comm's frequencies and a tower view point for all AFCAD's, also included are minor Airports and Military Bases, more Info in the Readme.

File Description:
This is a CAD-style editor for FS2004 airports. Airports consist of visible scenery and invisible facility data used to control airport operations. AFCAD 2 can add or modify almost all facility elements and several visible elements. This includes runways, taxiways, aprons, parking and communications. More visible elements will be added in future upgrades. Note that this version is strictly for FS2004. Look for version 1.4 to work with FS2002.

FS2004 Handley Page HP67 Hastings. This is an all-new model of the HP67 Hastings, a British military transport that was the mainstay of RAF Transport Command from 1947 into the 1960s. The last Hastings transport was retired in 1968. Five variants are included: Hastings C.1, C.1A, Met.1, C.2 and C.4.

File Description:
This is my first attempt for scenery modification for FS2004 using Google Sketchup buildings. I developed this scenery project to add more prominate buildings to the Washington DC area that were missing from the default scenery. All new buildings have been created and/or modified using Google Sketchup, converted with ModelConvertX and placed in FS2004 with InstantScenery. MegaScenery Mid Atlantic was used as a guide for accurate placement and makes a great addition, but is not necessary.
I went through great links to minimize the drawcall on each individual item to help reduce framerate hits. For my system, I found that setting the display settings in FS2004 to Medium High and turning off AI traffic was optimal while using both D.C. files in concert with MegaScenery. You might need to experiment.
