Chittagong, in Bangladesh, is known for its ship dismantling industry. The scenery is a piloting test, but also a way to make aware of the workers conditions. Even if some building have been added to VGEG, it is not an airport scenery.

The mountain peaks in the area are high, the scenery is beautiful in the spring and summer and the lift is good. Come and visit the area and maybe even try to soar over to Dyer (2Q9) on the Nevada border or try to see Mammoth Yosemite (KMMH) in a sailplane. The area will make for a good weekend of soaring fun.

File Description:
It is a summer afternoon, August, and the thermal activity has picked up in the Elmira, NY area. Might just be time to pull out your Schweizer 2-32 and make a tour around the area. We use Harris Hill 4NY8 as our launch site but there are several neat ones in the area such as KELM,NK52 or even NK47. Of course there are no real boomers in thermal activity as one finds out in Marfa or Odessa in West Texas but then this is fun too.

This small scenery addon celebrates Discovery's safe return by replacing the default model at Edwards AFB with a replacement Discovery, plus the carrier 747 to take it back to Canaveral. FS9 exclude file included. Works with FS2002 but does not remove the barely recognizable default shuttle on the apron. Original models by Deane Baunton and David Pinero. Scenery assembled by Martyn Becker
