CYZS Coral Harbor Download

File Description:
Coral Harbour Airport (IATA: YZS, ICAO: CYZS) is located 6 NM (11 km; 6.9 mi) northwest of Coral Harbour, Nunavut, Canada, and is operated by the government of Nunavut. This scenery is to be considered Semi Fictional. It is this way as the default is very drab and boring. Please be advised I have set this scenery in what I call transition WX seasons. This means basically what see on charts maybe not accurate and may req you to think ahead to take off and land. WX up here can be no bodies friend and your nightmare if you loose your bearing and mind. So use your melon, eye's and ears, nose or else. the more experience you gain in Arctic flight the better you'll get and you'll see why im advising caution in re WX. Scnery is dedicated to Sidney Schwartz and Gilles Gauthier. This file requires Gilles Gauthier's Nunavut Landscapes file name Nunavut_landscape.zip. It also requires Sidney Schwartz's Baggage carts file name baggage_carts_ss.zip

This repaint depicts the restored Noorduyn-built Harvard Mk.IIb c/n 14A-1106, owned/operated by John Rayner, based in Australia, and registered as VH-TXN. This aircraft originally served with the RCAF during WWII as FS966, training Commonwealth pilots in the Empire Air Training Scheme in Canada, and from 1946 until 1969 served in the Swedish AF as Sk 16A #16077. CYKF Version 2.1 Full Package Download

File Description:
I have now overhauled the CYKF Airport and made it the lively place it is today. I used the Canada Flight Supplement and my real life knowledge of the airport as this is where I do my flight training. --Extended runway 25/07 and added the new taxiway and renamed the others --Changed the landclass for the runway 25/07 extension --Updated the airport in AFCAD for AI to use the runway 25/07 extension --Added 6 AI flightplans to the 3 already there. AI will model real life training and commercial operations of the airport --AI use proper Canadian registration codes --Tested the files to make sure it operates correctly including AI --2.1 Revisions I updated the Traffic_CYKF file to use UTC times instead of local which I did by mistake. The AI will now fly at the proper times. ---**NOTE for those who have version 2.0 a separate upgrade only file is available **---

1960 - Delivery flight of Viscount VH-RMK - Omaha to Melbourne, the long way round. Download

File Description:
This FS2004 (FS9) flight replicates the route taken by Ansett-ANA's Viscount VH-RMK (previously Continental Airlines' N241V) when it was delivered - by an Ansett crew - from Omaha, Nebraska to Essendon airport, Melbourne. The crew consisted of Cpt. C. Lister (in command), Cpt. D. Bull, First Officer J. Farrell, Navigator W. Kennedy and Flt. Engineer J. Howard. The flight commenced on the morning of September 17th. 1960 and took 12 days, the route being across the continental United States to Chicago, thence to Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland, United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, UAR, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Phillipines, Indonesia and finally Australia. You may wonder why they took the "long way round" rather than ferry the aircraft across the Pacific route: very simply, the Viscount did not have the range required to safely transit the distances between the only refuelling points available down through the Pacific Ocean. A ReadMe with the simple installation instructions and historical information is included.
