This is another repaint for the FSX AI Default MD-83. This is a fictional repaint because no MD-83 was in service for Air Canada, although part of the DC-9 Family. The DC-9 was in service until 2002. A repaint is portrayed to see if an MD-83 was in service today. Splash screen included. This repaint requires the MD-83 Flyable pack by Braden Peters.

File Description:
Shell Canada Embraer 170 Corporate operating between base in Calgary and Albian Aerodrome. The data is based on internet research. Albian Village and Albian Aerodrome were built to support expansion of the Athabasca Oil Sands Project (AOSP). AOSP Expansion 1 is a 100,000-barrel-a-day expansion of both bitumen mining and upgrading facilities. At peak, AOSP Expansion 1 will employ more than 6,000 skilled trades people at construction sites near Fort McMurray and near Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This is total remake of the default FSX airport using ADEX 1.45.06 1. Runway renumbered correctly to 05-23 and 14-32. Slight adjustment to runway orintation. 2. DME added to runway 05-23. 3. Terminal completely rebuilt using FSX Scenery Objects. 4. Control Tower moved to correct geographic position and rebuild, 5. Airport roads and vehicle parking areas added. 6. Airport lighting added. 7. Other improvement include static objects, vehicles and vegetation. 8. Airport approach plates and diagrams included along with airport views.

CYQQ - CFB Comox, British Columbia, Canada.

File Description:
Canadian Forces Base Comox (IATA: YQQ, ICAO: CYQQ), commonly referred to as CFB Comox, is a Canadian Forces Base located 2.5 NM (4.6 km; 2.9 mi) north northeast of Comox, British Columbia. It is primarily operated as an air force base by Canadian Forces Air Command and is one of two bases in the country using the CP-140 Aurora anti-submarine/maritime patrol and surveillance aircraft. Its primary lodger unit is 19 Wing. CFB Comox's airfield is also used by civilian aircraft, with civilian operations at the base referring to the facility as Comox Airport. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by NAV CANADA and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency. CBSA officers at this airport currently can handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.

File Description:
I have completely reconstructed CYXS using ADE (v1.40), Google Earth satellite images and current airport chart. Runways have been repositioned and runway 15/33 extended from 7400 ft to 11450 ft. ILS has been added to runway 33. Roads, parking areas and new buildings added. Aprons readjusted. Automated jetways added. Parking for AI aircraft and refueling truck added. Additional scenery objects have been added and to view these will require you to install additional files as described below. Airport views are from the roof of the control tower. Latest News: YXS - The New Transpacific Logisitics Alternative The Runway Expansion Project has transformed runway 15/33 from 7,400 ft. to 11,450 ft., complete with centre line (LED) lighting, dual ILS navigational systems and a dedicated de-icing refueling pad for wide body aircraft. Once completed, the Runway Expansion Project will allow the PGAA to market the airport as a new transpacific logistics alternative, providing carriers the opportunity to make Prince George a destination of choice for refueling and transshipment of cargo

CYXX Abbotsfor Intl - British Columbia, Canada.

File Description:
This airport has been completely reworked using ADE v1.39 and satellite images from Google Earth and Microsoft Virtual Earth. Both runways have been extended to correct length: 01/19 from 5260ft to 5328ft and 07/25 from 7988ft to 9600ft (see attach airport chart). Thesholds have been corrected. VASI updated on both runwaysw. Xwind runways activated. Roads, buildings and apron areas updated. Static aircraft, vehicles, vegetation, fuel truck and automated jetways added. I have added flood lights to cover ramp and parking areas also red obstruction lights have been added to some taller buildings. These lights are visibled between the hours of dusk and dawn. For these light to be visible the included folder - FSX_LTS - must be placed in your Addon Scenery folder and activated.

File Description: Royal Aviation Canada textures for Dee Waldron's AI Lockheed L1011 TriStar package, available here on AVSIM. Excellent lo-poly model for traffic use, or even a little flying around. Model by Dee Waldron, paint kit by Henry Tomkiewicz. This package just replaces the corrupted package due to the AVSIM hack. Nothing has changed.
