FS2004 De Havilland DHC8-102. A 37 seat twin turboprop regional airliner. The Air Canada Jazz Collection includes C-FABW, C-GANF, C-GJMO, C-GJSX. An all new FSDS2.24 design with 2D panel, Dynamic VC, and Custom Sound. In addition, a custom TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System), a complete Ground Handling module with push back and taxi speed control and the latest version GPWS (Ground Proximity Warning System) is included. The visual model features an opening airstair with detailed cabin interior, operating Cargo Door, lift dump and roll control spoilers, passenger wing and cabin views, and high definition reflective textures. Reg_ID: C-GABI. This is the default MS Dash8 modified and remapped in Gmax for proper texture orientation and includes a new Flight Model, HTML Check / Ref lists and new Master Textures with reflections and new night mapping. Should work in FS2002 Pro also. We at PAD were dissapointed at seeing nice repaints of the default Dash8 repainted with only one good full texture side. That is now history.

A small mixup resulted in a couple incorrect files for a short time in previous version. Check inside folder "FS9 Default Mesh" for bgl files "hricz.bgl" and "hricz_A16N.bgl". A simulation of the real-world 483 acre Hricziscse Ranch located in Langell Valley, southeast Oregon, 21nm east of KLMT. Of course, I don't really have an airstrip, but it would be neat. Landclass also used to more closely depict the agricultural nature of the valley. Some artistic leeway is used in the depiction of the ranch and its surroundings. It's a lot cleaner (sterile) in FS than real-life. Rwy 29/11_1500' x 50' grass_alt 4211.3'_night lighting (airstrip does not exist in real world). This scenery is a bit of a frame-hog. --This scenery is designed for use with FSGenesis Westcoast mesh. Alternate files provided for FS9 default mesh users. See install readme for options--

This is the sixth in a series of new and renovated float bases in BC. Port Hardy CAW5 is in a sheltered inlet on the northeast coast of Vancouver Island, close to the town and just 6 miles northwest of the Port Hardy airport. There is fuel (both JetA and 100LL) and also oil available, and the base acts as a refuelling centre for the other float bases in the neighbourhood. The dock is one-sided as the northern side borders a shallow area that is in fact exposed at low tide, as is most of the inlet to the south of BC Packers (adjacent to the float base, to the south). The parking along the dock is maximised by backing up each plane by hand so that it is close to the one behind it; this is not possible to replicate with AI in FS9 (watch the video). Watch out for the log boom on the other side of the inlet, it is there to protect fish farm "pools". The AI involves several Beavers and Otters, as listed in the AI folder. At Port Hardy all the AI works for both landing and takeoff for all of the planes, no matter what is the wind direction. There is a pic of the Supplement Port Hardy page, showing the two take-off and landing areas plus the third area that is to be used for take-off before 7am. All of these float bases can be installed together in the same folders, with a saving in duplicate textures. So a series called BC Floats (or whatever you want to call it) or individually installed float bases; your choice. The next in the series was suposed to be Sullivan Bay, another floating marina, but I digressed to Port Hardy and Port McNeill (next to be posted). The two hotels by the nearby marina are included. One of them gave me weird problems and I gave up on achieving the correct shape.

You need to download the avroyork.zip basepack and I recommend to use the FS2004 Avro York Merlin 500 FDE and panel update also.
Many Yorks were used in Northern Canada to support building the Dewline stations and other supply operations.
These textures decipt CF-HMX (c/n MW167) used by Arctic Wings Ltd., Churchill Manitoba from 1954 until it crashed 12.4.1956 at Hall Lake NWT Canada, where the wreckage remains until today.
