Cape Dyer is on the southeast corner of Baffin Island, around 120 miles east of Pangnirtung at approximately N66 45 W61 30. There is a fine view north up the Davis Strait between Baffin Island and Greenland, and this is the whole reason for the airfield's existance as it was built to support the construction and operation of a DEW line radar station, which has now been updated to a North Warning System site. There are two camps; the upper camp is on the east side of the Cape and is where the radars are located, linked by a gravel road to the lower camp, which is on the west and more sheltered side of the Cape on the clifs above Sunneshine Fjord. The runway is 5,000' of 150' wide gravel, and it is lighted and at 1,320' feet ASL. Cape Dyer is now listed as abandoned in the Canada Flight Supplement. It is, however, still there and presumably is still used for access to the North Warning System equipment, which is automated and generally unmanned. The buildings were modeled for this scenery and include a hanagar large enough to accommodate a C-130. Ultimate Terrain is not required as it does not cover northern Canada.

| Wien Consolidated '1970' Fokker F-27B |

This is a repaint of the F-27B in Wien Consolidated 1970 colors. The freeware CalClassic F-27 by Tom Gibson and Bernward Bockheim is needed for this repaint. It was repainted using Bjoern Kesten's paintkit. Wien Air Alaska was known as Wien Consolidated after their merge with Northern Consolidated Airlines from 1967 through to 1973 when they reverted back to Wien Air Alaska. Wien operated 6 Fairchild F-27s over the years; 3 F-27As and 3 F27Bs. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. Textures are 32bit. It should work on FS2004,FSX, & P3D v1-3.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of N7777G of Fly Alaska. N7777G was a L749 that first flew with KLM as PH-TET. It flew with Wien Alaskan Airlines between 1964 and 1968 before going to Fly Alaska. In 1973 it was used by the Rolling Stones for their Far East Tour. It then went to Lanzair and was abandoned in Dublin in 1974. It has been on display in the Science Museum at Wroughton since 1983. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

Textures for Manfred Jahn's Avro York - repainted by Manfred Meyer.
You need to download the avroyork.zip basepack and I recommend to use the FS2004 Avro York Merlin 500 FDE and panel update also.
Many Yorks were used in Northern Canada to support building the Dewline radarstations and other supply operations.
These textures decipt CF-HAS (c/n MW290) used by Transair Ltd. Canada from 1956 until it damaged beyond repair at Fox NWT 13.9.1956.

File Description:
Assiniboia Airport is located 11 km (7 miles) north of the town of Assiniboia in south central Saskatchewan, Canada. The airport is situated on the site of the wartime aerodrome built as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
CJN4 Assiniboia was constructed using GMAX. It includes photo-real custom models of all the buildings at the airport, runway signs, refueling facilities, weather station, vehicles, runway and taxiway lighting and a rotating beacon. It also includes custom ground textures to replicate the crumbling decommissioned runways and cracked tarmac. The scenery replicates the pilot activated ARCAL lighting of airfield approach lights, edge lights, runway and taxiway lights.

File Description:
This is a complete upgrade of vicenh05, Victoria, Canada area scenery for FS9. New in this version: automated installer and configurator from Ken Peters; several detailed models including the Empress Hotel, the Legislature, the Regent Hotel and the Johnson St. Bridge; greatly enhanced Inner Harbour; many generic buildings representing buildings throughout the area; 7 new small airfields with sloping runways; seven new floatplane bases (owners of Vancouver+ get extensive floatplane traffic in local liveries); 7 new heliports (Vancouver+ users get additional heli AI traffic) and a myriad of minor fixes and improvements. Included from previous versions are revised shorelines, landclass and 19m mesh and buffer meshes for South-Eastern Vancouver Island; boat docks with static boats, seaplane docks and terminal buildings for Harbour Air, Kenmore Air and West Coast Air; piers, buildings, breakwater and other components of the Ogden Point Terminal; dock, service building and pilot boats of the Pacific Pilotage Authority; Odgen Point Cafe and Dive Shop; marine navigational lights for Victoria Harbour and area, including Esquimalt harbour and Oak Bay; antennae location corrections for the area; AFCADs included: Land based (CML2), Floatplane (CAB3, CAP5, CAP8, CAV8, CAW7, CAX6, CMAP, CYWH), Heli (CAL7, CBF5, CBF7, CBK8, CBW7, CBW9, CBZ7, CMBH); AI craft models and repaints (Cruise ships are repaints of Asuka model by Mitsuya Hamaguchi: MS Amsterdam of the Holland America Line travelling from Victoria to Vancouver, MS Summit of the Celebrity Cruise Line travelling from Seattle to Victoria); S-61 Sea-King helicopter in Helijet colours; Pacific Pilot custom vessel working from the Pilot dock; 22, 30 and 40 foot vessels plying the harbour and nearby Straight of Juan de Fuca. Effects included for lights, water, smoke effects. Many flights are offered, including two flights for owners of the Aerosoft Beaver (not required). Ultimate Terrain compatible (not required). Users of Misty Fjords will also get additional cruise ship traffic: the Island Princess and the Volendam alternating with the Amsterdam and Summit.
