File Description:
N979AS (cn 53471/2139), version 1. Alaska Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-83 for the Super 80 CLASSIC version only!! Sadly, Alaska Airlines phased out their Maddog's and today (the 24th of August 2008), their last 4 MD's operate the last revenue flight for the company. This particular plane has a screwdriver tail so this livery was originally created for the recently released Super80 PRO package. With some minor adjustments we were able to convert it for usage with the CLASSIC version as well. Custom specular and normal mapping and as always : worn, torn, weathered and (a little) dirty. Screenshots are unedited. Installation is easy ; just use the repaintmanager. Coolsky / Flight1 Super 80 Classic package required. | Talkeetna Village AK44 in Alaska, REVISED |

File Description:
The town of Talkeetna is around 75 miles north of Anchorage in Alaska, on the east shore of the Susitna River where the Susitna, Talkeetna, and Chulitna rivers join. The town is where Don Sheldon started Talkeetna Air Services. His story is told in "Wager With The Wind" by James Greinar and is well worth reading for the descriptions of mountain flying. There are two airfields at Talkeetna, PATK with its long asphalt runway and Talkeetna Village AK44 in the town. This is AK44; measuring the space left for the runway between the river bank in the south and the curve in the road that marks the north end of the field there is just enough space for the 900 feet of runway that is described in the book. The result is a step back in time to 1973, when the second hangar was built. Neither hangar has survived to today.

I am proud to present this Bombardier CRJ-701 in the excellent Project Opensky CRJ-700 V3 model. This airframe, bearing registration N215AG, is the first of 3 Bombardier CRJ-700's to wear the Alaska Airlines' Smiling Eskimo livery. This is a detailed repaint with custom textures. All windows are custom, hand-painted, 3D with window shades. Night textures are custom (windows) as well. All repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete installation package; version 2008.1.1 of the Project Opensky CRJ-700 V3 model is included.
