Re-uploaded Wings Of Power P-47D Thunderbolt Mk.1s HD154, #18 42-26190, No 73 OTU, Fayid, Egypt, 1944. Most of the 240 Thunderbolt Is and approximately 600 Thunderbolt IIs supplied to the RAF through Lend-Lease arrangements in 1944-45 were shipped directly to India, where the type entered service in August 1944. Replacing Hurricanes in a dozen squadrons, the Thunderbolt saw extensive action over Burma in the final stages of the war. All replacement pilots for the Thunderbolt squadrons on active service were trained by No 73 OTU at Fayid in the Suez Canal Zone, Egypt, the aircraft of this unit sporting a distinctive "Skull-in-Ace-of-Spades" marking.Requires prior purchase/installation of Wings of Power P-47 Thunderbolt pack available at www.a2asimulations.com

File Description:
Byron Bay was a DEW line station on the south coast of Victoria Island, 105 miles east of Lady Franklin Point. It closed in 1993. The buildings are still there, slowly accumulating the patina so admired by collectors on Antiques Roadshow. The runway is just over 4,500 feet and aligned 58T-238T. At the mid point between Lady Franklin Point and Byron Bay there is a North Warning Site on the highpoint of Edinburgh Island, just south of the closed Ross Point station on the "mainland" Victoria Island. The runway is just over 1,400 feet and is also up on the top of the island. There is a steep road down 600 feet to the coast for the annual fuel resupply and maintenance.

This is a repaint of the excellent TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Boeing 737-600 model, in Air Algerie livery, 7T-VJS. Texture only. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson, with assistance from David Biggar. Vanships come from "Last Exile" and "Last Exile: Silver Wing Fam" animes. Military vanships have overpowered dual thrusters for acceleration and maneuvering. They are the only Vanships equipped with onboard weapons: a pair of 600 rpm machine guns with 200-round ammunition boxes, underside racks for carrying bombs, drop-pods, and external tanks to compensate for the lower fuel efficiency of the overpowered thrusters. The navi is responsible for reloading the ammunition in addition to his or her other duties.
