File Description: Channel Airways bought five Comet 4B aircraft from BEA to operate inclusive tours out of Stansted. This was the only ex BEA machine, the other four had been in service with Olympic Airways. None of the aircraft were painted in Channel colours, remaining in the basic livery of their former operators left G-APMB as the odd one out in the fleet. The first to arrive in January 1970 was one of the former Greek aircraft and the type made it debut on the 25th February with G-APYC flying from Stansted to Palma. The Comet proved a disaster for the airline and a spares shortage and technical difficulties forced it to buy an Mexicana Comet 4 in June 1971 which was immediately broken up to provide spares. The airline as a whole was in serious trouble and with fortunes continuing to decline all jet operations were suspended in January 1972. The airline ceased flying at the end of the following month. File Description: One of four ex Olympic Comet 4B aircraft that along with a single ex BEA machine was bought for IT charter contracts stating in the Summer of 1970. Based at Stansted it was not a happy asscociation with the airline and techincal delays and spares shortage caused Channel to buy a Mexicana machine for spares use. That arrived in June 1971 and was broken up. In September of that year continuing problems and spares shortages coinciding with a fall off in work meant the retirement of one of the active fleet. The airline was in a bad shape and eventually all jet services were suspended in January 1972 with the airline closing at the end of February. Requires the DH 106 Comet 4B model by David Maltby

File Description: This document is an attempt to brief, (with as simple words as possible but with a touch of professionalism also), all FlightSimmers who are interested on Atlantic Crossing procedures. Weather, FlightPlans, Fuel Requirements, RVSM, MNPS, OTS, NAT Tracks, NARs, Re-release Procedure and almost anything related to Cross Atlantic Flights is discussed. An example of a Real-life Olympic Airways flight from KJFK to LGAV helps the reader understand the procedures. Also, useful links and voice samples of real HF Communications are included in this pdf tutorial to get the feeling of "As Real As it Gets". Written by real life pilots, Michikian Krikor (Olympic Airways A340-300 pilot and Vatsim Member) and Vangelis Hassiotis (Private Pilot and Vatsim Europe Instructor).

File Description: In 1982, Delta was facing a poor economy, rising fuel prices, and declining profitability. The Delta employees banded together to raise $30 million to show support for their airline and purchase Delta's first Boeing 767, a new state-of-the-art aircraft at the time. The aircraft was christened "The Spirit of Delta" and flew for 23 years, wearing numerous liveries over the course of its service as the flagship of the Delta fleet. After several years sporting its original widget theme, the aircraft was painted to promote the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. The aircraft was then re-dedicated in the airline's new wavy gravy livery, and received a special retro scheme in 2004 to commemorate Delta's 75 years of service. Today, N102DA can be found at the Delta Heritage Museum in Atlanta painted back in its original widget color scheme, with the interior featuring an exhibit on the airline's history.
This repaint package contains all of the mentioned liveries for the SkySpirit model (included). Enjoy!
