Virtual Control Panel, VCP-Gauge

changing the views via the keypad annoyed me so much, that I decided to create a special gauge with realistic viewpoints out of the cabin - so called "wingviews". The VCP gauge can adapted to every panel as it can be dragged easily by mouse to a free place on the panel. An adaption to planes with virtual cockpits as FS9-default Panel are impossible. ComGold Radio

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: ComGold Radio. This deluxe, state-of-the-art radio contains a full array of displays including active and standby frequencies for Com1, Com2, Nav1, Nav2, ADF1, and transponder code. Frequencies are entered directly into both active and standby memories of all radios using CG's numeric keypad. Values can be entered into the radios or transponder both automatically or manually. ID's of active nav frequencies are displayed if signal strength is sufficient. Signal strength is animated accurately using data based on numerous attenuation tests. Gauge provides automatic checking for erroneous data entry. Panel or window installation. Uses existing radio icon when replacing default radios.

File Description:
This gauge is freeware. It adds four small buttons on the panel of CRJ Experience from Wilco Publishing.

It is possible to open and close these four windows:

Center Pedestal (CP)
Display Control Panel (DC)
Flight Management System (FS)

Main Exit and Cargo Doors Guage for LVL D B767

File Description:
DX_ExtDoors gauge. This gauge is designed for use with the LVL-D B767. It contains buttons for the main exit and the front/rear cargo doors. It will also work with other aircraft that are modeled to use the "Fold Wing" action to open/close the rear cargo door. Because of this, the FS message "Wings Extended" and "Wings Folded" will appear when the cargo button is depressed. The gauge is backlit to match the LVL-D B767 panel.

FS2004 GPS Map View Gauge v2.0

File Description:
The ultimate gauge. The Map will show: Airports details (Runways ID's, length & ILS), VOR's and NDB's frequencies, Intersections and waypoints, Airspaces, Approaches and flight routes. You can toggle the view you require for your flight. Also you can zoom in/out to see the nearest airports, vor's and ndb's. The map will indicate A/C heading flightplan title and waypoints ID's. Version 2 includes more enhancements such as the ability to input the ICAO code of any airport and the map will show all the frequencies of that airport including ATIS, ILS, AND COM. In addition, the map will show the active runway designations, length and width.

Apollo PVI (Pilot Vehicle Interface) /GPS

File Description:
This gauge is modeled after the Apollo PVI for commercial jet aircraft. This gauge is written in XML and is designed to mesh with the default FS9GPS map input data. Compatible with FS2004 (FS9) ONLY! Size (pixel size) is the same as the FS9 default GPS so placement (or replacement) of the gauge is quick and easy.

UPDATE for Groundhandling gauges V3.2

File Description:
This archive contains an update for my groundhandling gauges V3.2 and corrects a sound-playing bug. This bug becomes appearant when the FS framerate drops below approx. 15 fps, resulting in the pushback conversion sounds being garbled, not started, or stopped prematurely. Requires prior installation of archive rcbgh-32.zip.

TerraVue: Moving Map, Ground Proximity, Information pages

File Description:
FS2004 Gauge: TerraVue. This gauge contains a moving map display with a terrain elevation legend color-keyed to the FS9 map. The legend allows the elevation of terrain lying ahead of the aircraft to be taken into account. TerraVue can display the FS map in seven ranges from 4 NM to 160 NM. The Map mode also employs animation to show the proximity between the aircraft and ground in a graphical and digital display with indicators showing whether the distance is increasing or decreasing. The gauge can be switched to the Information mode which will display up to four individual pages of data that is created by you. These scrollable pages may contain checklists, airport diagrams, approach plates, strip charts, etc. Fully functional, free software to help quickly construct these pages is included along with an illustrated tutorial that demonstrates the simple copy/paste process that tailors these pages to include whatever data you wish. FS2004 Simulated Aircraft Bubble Sextant

File Description:
As travel by air developed and matured, navigation over long distances also developed and improved. In the early days, however, air navigation essentially used ship navigation techniques adapted for aircraft. Without "landmarks", the navigators used Ded Reckoning (DR) and the stars. Celestial or Astronomical Navigation provides a means of obtaining Lines of Position (LOPs) from the stars. Crossing LOPs will fix a position. It requires a chart, and a planned course on that chart, with waypoints specified by Latitude and Longitude, an assumed time of arrival at each waypoint, and stars (including the Sun, Moon, or planets) in view. In the 1940s, extensive tables of star positions were made available to air navigators to be used with sextants to obtain these LOPs. In the tables, all times involved are GMT. This data is available from the Internet in "ready to use" form. This gauge simulates the sextant, and the process by which one obtains a LOP, or crossing LOPs to obtain a position, or fix. Can be used with any FS2004 aircraft. Includes comprehensive browser-based manual and references.
