YBIU Ballidu, Western Australia

File Description:
YBIU Ballidu is a town located in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, about 217 kilometres (135 mi) north of Perth. The townsite was gazetted in 1914, with street names of the original settlers. A primary school opened in the town on 4 September 1922, moving into permanent premises in 1924. Ballidu has a population of less than 100 people and consists of Ballidu Primary School, the local Art Gallery, a hall, a few shops for groceries and essentials and several farming supply stores. As Ballidu is a farming region, over the years (as the size of the surrounding farms has increased), the town has become smaller and smaller. This airfield is run by Dunn Aviation and mainly home for their Air Tractor and Dromadaire fleet. (I have created a low poly version beacuse its my first aircraft model). It has a windsock and hangar but little else.

YBJW Banjawarn Station is a remote sheep station in Western Australia. It is situated 220 miles (350 km) north of Kalgoorlie and 500 miles (800 km) north east of Perth, on the edge of the Great Victoria Desert. It covers an area of 500,000 acres (780 square miles), about the size of West Yorkshire and a little smaller than the Australian Capital Territory. In the 1990's Banjawarn was owned by the Aum Shinrikyo and following the Tokyo subway attack was the subject of an Australian Federal Police investigation. YCVM Caversham RAAF Base, Western Australia (Closed 1942)

File Description:
YCVM Caversham (Closed 1942) - the last remains of this site as it looked in 2010. If you had permission to land, runway 05 - 23 would still be accessible for a light aircraft and an ultralight could still land on what is left of the others. Sadly, this historic site is destined to become a housing estate so this is my attempt to preserve it. As with most military sites, there is a shortage of images so I would appreciate any help to make it more accurate for the period rather than what currently remains. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

YDRD Drysdale River Station with strip and homestead complex is a stopping over point for 4WD tourists and campers and provides some refreshment for those on the road.
