| YDON Dowerin Town and Airstrip (Modelled for Dowerin Field Days) |

File Description:
YDON Dowerin is home to the Dowerin GWN Field Days, currently a two day annual event (held in the last week of August) showcasing agricultural and associated equipment, as well as providing information and services to people from rural areas. The Field Days attract on average in excess of 600 exhibitors as well as over 15,000 local and national visitors each day.
The event was first held as the Dowerin Machinery Field Day on 3 September 1965, and was the result of meetings by the Dowerin Progress Association the previous year which looked at ideas to prevent the town of Dowerin from becoming a ghost town. Some twenty exhibitors and two thousand visitors attended the first field day, with funds raised from the first event going towards funding the construction of a dam and a grassed tennis court. The event continues to be run and managed by the local community, with three full time staff and 400 volunteers involved in the event's running each year. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

| YKAE Kalannie, Western Australia |

File Description:
YKAE Kalannie, about 300km north-east of Perth, lies in some of the best wildflower country in Australia and at the heart of WA���¢������s largest wheat producing area. The district also claims more species of wattle (acacias) than anywhere else in the world. Kalannie is also situated approximately 30 mins from Dalwallinu in what is called the northern wheatbelt region and is within the Dalwallinu Shire and hence council administration for the area is managed from Dalwallinu. Kalannie has a population of approximately 300 people in the town and immediate region around Kalannie. There is no accommodation at Kalannie except for the Caravan Park. | YMHL Mount Holland Mine (closed), Western Australia |

File Description:
YMHL Mount Holland Mine (closed) - Convergent Minerals Limited. Bounty Gold Mine at Mount Holland was discovered by Aztec Exploration in 1985. The annual evaporation in this area is more than double the rainfall so it is a very dry and hardy location. Mining commenced in 1988 and was completed in 2002 producing 1.2 million ounces of Gold. Further exploration indicates the possibility of expanding the resource and Convergent Minerals have recently aquired the nickel rights. The board has commissioned a desk top study into recommencing mining and gold production at the Bounty Project. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

| YNRB Narembeen, Western Australia airstrip and townsite |

File Description:
YNRB Narembeen - The idea of creating a town at the Narembeen siding was the brainchild of a prominent Perth lawyer, Henry Hale, and a Perth publican, Paddy Connolly. When the men realised the problems that were being created by the teetotal community at Emu Hill they purchased 30 acres (about 12 ha) of land at Narembeen, used their influence with the local politicians, got permission to build a pub and then sold off the rest of the land to prospective residents of their 'private town'. The pub, which still stands today, was all that was needed to overwhelm the struggling nearby settlements and become the centre for the whole area. By 1925 Narembeen had a population of 2100.
