I tried to duplicate the actual GA & Soaring facilities at the airport in Moriarty, New Mexico (about 20 miles from where I live). This location is very popular and offers excellent soaring opportunities. This is based loosely on USGS sat images of the airport. See the readme for additional airport info.

Lillooet, British Columbia CAR3

File Description:
Lillooet, British Columbia Scenery - FSX. This is a an enhanced fictitious depiction of CAR3 - Lillooet, BC. It offers some nice "eye candy" rather then the bare-bones rendition in FSX. Lillooet (CAR3) is one of my favorite places to fly in and out of. I created an enhanced scenery for my own enjoyment, but thought I would share it with others. This is freeware. I hope you enjoy it. Designed with the FS X Sdk Scenery function of the Mission builder and the Abacus Scenery shortcut tool. This scenery is frame rate friendly.

Deer Valley FC Resort & Roosevelt Lake

File Description:
Deer Valley Resort at Roosevelt Lake Scenery. - This is a fictious Resort at Roosevelt Lake by Grapevine AZ USA. Its basically a fly-in resort for the Deer Valley Flying Club members to relax, do some fishing, go to the Amusement Park and have a general great time. But the resort is now open to the public. If you dont want to spend the big bucks, there is a small campground located nearby. I suggest a float plane or helocopter for the trip out and back. If you're a competent bush pilot, you might be able to land on the grass runway, but its a very difficult strip. Fly a STOL plane or you wil not make it. Acknowledments: Microsoft: FS X Sdk Scenery function of the Mission builder. Abacus: Scenery shortcut tool. Lee Swordy: AFCAD Ver 2.21. NOTE: This scenery is frame rate friendly, but I would highly suggest turning off ground shadows.

South America Mesh Scenery, MeshX_C9

File Description:
Mesh terrain scenery for the whole continental South America, based on SRTM 90m dem geotiff files (at: ftp://ftp.glcf.umiacs.umd.edu/glcf/SRTM/Degree_Tiles/), resampled to 76 meter of horizontal resolution (LOD 9). The new files have improved the vertical resolution from 16m to 10m, resulting in more details and accuracy over previous versions. There are 50 files, compatible with FS 9 and FS X, identified in a map by column letter and line number, covering the contiguous countries and states. Boundaries: N = 33º 45' S; S = 39º 22.5' S; E = 56º 15' W; W = 63º 45' W.
