FSConnect is a module that gets loaded by Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) and interacts with third-party programs (clients), providing data regarding the user aircraft. Version 3.00 adds support for XML expressions, as well as the ability to generate key events by which you can control the user aircraft and certain aspects of the simulator. Although portions of the SDK may prove useful to Flight Simulator enthusiasts with little or no programming experience, keep in mind that many parts of the SDK assume familiarity with XML, the C programming language, and game development.

This file contains a spreadsheet template in OpenDocument format to prepare your flight ! Prepare your route, then, using planning tables and filling the fuel and weight form, prepare your payload estimation in this document. A copy of some tables (weights and limitations) for the B737 NG are embedded. A fuel calculator is also embbeded. It will provide automatic fuel load suggestion for each flight once you have completed your flight level and time of flight (based on linear interpolation of a real world flight planning table). Of course you can erase any suggestion with your own value. When it is done, go to the dispatcher briefing tab. Sign it to complete it automatically with some captain notes. In the end, export the dispatcher briefing as a selection in PDF if you wish. Fully reliable when used with your aircraft tables, this document uses the fuel planning methodology described in a PMDG manual and has been validated against a real B737-800 dispatcher briefing. The file contains two templates with automatic fuel load calculation (one for the 737NG, the other for the 757) and two templates without the linear interpolation module (for the Avro RJ and for the B727).

BGLXML 0.40 , by Alessandro G. Antonini (C)2004 this is an utility which disassembles BGL files into new FS2004 format and produces an XML file to be compiled with Microsoft BGLCOMP (from FS2004 SDK). Besides disassembling almost all BGL records, it is also able to extract .MDL files from ModelData sections. This utility is freeware and open-source, licensed under GNU-GPL to help developers understand the new FS2004 BGL structures (contributors are welcome) - please read inside documentation for important infos.

NewBglAnalyze is a program that disassembles scenery files for FS2004, which are in the new format. It was tested thoroughly but which might still contain bugs. The output is a xml-file which you can recompile with bglcomp.exe, the program provided in the Bglcomp SDK. This is an update that fixes some bugs in the former version.
