We proudly present this scenery of the airport and air base of Bordeaux Merignac (LFBD) as it was around 1961.
We have produced this scenery to provide taxiways and details as they were around this period.
We have also included new parking to allow the AI aircraft to taxi correctly at the new (old!)
airport. Although we did not always have enough photos and information we tried to come as close as possible.
Our goal was to reflect something of the atmosphere and feel of that period, prior to the all-jet era of today.

This new version includes:
» completely new designed hangars, some of them with controllable hangardoors.
» a new controll-tower.
» the buildings of the official school for the German Air Force.
» interactive air-marshallers.
» an improved airport-layout.
» the radio-tower of Schoengeising as a landmark for VFR-Flights.
» an exact landclassfile for the surroundings of the airbase.
It also includes some GA-AI-Traffic.
Compatible with MyWorld2004-Landclass and Werner Vogts "SRTM scenery mesh".

The Airport (IATA: DSM, ICAO: KDSM) is a commercial airport located in the southern part of the city of Des Moines, Iowa USA. The airport serves residents of the Des Moines metropolitan area and is the closest airport with connections to major airline hubs for people who live throughout much of east-central, north-central, and southern Iowa. The 132d Fighter Wing of the Iowa Air National Guard is located at the Des Moines International Airport. This scenery was created solely with Rwy12 and Lago's FSE. This file is only needed if you have installed the scenery for Osaka International airport, RJOO, from Flightinfo Japan, at http://flightinfo.jp/souea/sc02.htm Some of the default files cause all the apron and taxiway textures to disappear. This is a replacement file which fixes that problem. Also, an improved AFCAD file.
