my Leadville scenery to the south and brings you another 3.500 sq km of beautiful Colorado in 4.7m/pix quality. Flight Ontario posted their scenery for Rockcliffe CYRO in 2008, having worked with all the information they had but not all the information they would have liked (the usual situation with all scenery designers, including me). I learnt to fly at RFC and know Rockcliffe well so there are some additions and modifications here including the refueling point near the RFC buildings, revised apron shape, gravel car park, parked cars, extended perimeter fence, deck in front of the RFC clubhouse, more parked planes, the large and old willow tree, and the float dock in the river. Of course, since then the willow tree was felled by a tornado and there are now other major modifications including a new hangar, so watch this space.

File Description:
One Hundred Mile House is eight miles south of 108 Mile Airport in BC and this version HAS THE MISSING TEXTURES! It is also 75 miles northwest of Kamloops. The runway 08/26 is 1,900 feet long and asphalt (except in the winter, when it is described as "snow"; there is also a note about limited winter maintenance) and almost in the middle of town. The apron is at the eastern (town) end of the runway and on the south side of this there is a large pond which attracts ducks and other water birds. Try to avoid the geese, they can weigh 14lb and come through the prop AND the perspex and up close have dark brown eyes; I speak from an experience 50 feet above the Rockcliffe runway.

This scenery features full seasonal textures, night lighting, animated road traffic and comes complete with a landclass-scenery for the entire northern tip of the Lower Michigan peninsula. It is optimized for high frame rates through extensive use of libraries containing custom objects made in Gmax.
Re-upload due to Avsim hack. This file already incorporates the patch released in May 2007.

| Hicks Farm Field CF12 near Ottawa in Ontario, Canada |

File Description:
Hicks Farm is in Ontario and around 8 miles west of Rideau Valley Airpark CPL3 (which did not appear in FS9, probably because it was then mainly used by gliders, but is a post of mine). CPL3 is 15 miles south of Ottawa Airport, tucked into a right angle bend of the Rideau River. Ultimate Terrain puts the river into place, and I am not sure of how or if either CPL3 or CF12 work without UT, maybe somebody can let me know. Fly west from CPL3 along the river and Hicks Farm will be on the south side. It has a (mainly) grass runway 34/16 with a section of asphalt and totals some 5,500 feet overall. Alan, the owner of Hicks Farm, is in his mid 80's and was told last year that his insurance company no longer felt comfortable with him flying his Lear off a farm strip. The result of his enforced retirement from flying his Lear is that the grass has been allowed to take over somewhat, though there is still sufficient space to land most single engine light aircraft.
