CVB2 Voisey's Bay Airstrip, Newfoundland

File Description:
Simple scenery for the new private airstrip of the Voisey's Bay Nickel Company Ltd., who are mining the massive nickel resources recently discovered in the region between Anaktalak Bay and Voisey's Bay, Newfoundland, about 20 miles southwest of Nain. Scenery includes the airstrip with Afcad2 file (AI ready), the surrounding lakes and ponds, and a very basic rendition of the concentrator facility on Camp Pond, made with default FS9 buildings and landclass. Built as a special request for Kevin Pardy and the guys at Premier Aircraft Design. Tested with default FS9 mesh and landclass only!

File Description:
USGS SRTM 3 arc-second, resampled to LOD9 (76 meters). This is a terrain mesh & landclass scenery of the Central Volcanic Belt in Mexico. The following volcanoes can be found in this area: Popocatepetl, Iztaccihuatl, La Malinche, Pico de Orizaba and Cofre de Perote. Also included are some volcanic eruption effects.

Norfolk Island International Airport, YSNF. V-2 ( includes landclass fix).

File Description:
WELKAM TU NORFUK AILEN. Welcome to Norfolk Island International Airport. Norfolk Island is a beautiful and popular holiday destination in the Pacific Ocean, between New Zealand and Australia. Norfolk Air has scheduled flights to and from both Australia and New Zealand to the Island, and the airport is also used as a stepping stone for International GA flights. This scenery is a total ground-up rebuild of my old YSNF scenery, and as such, requires you delete my older scenery totally from the sim before installing this one. It also contains the landclass fix for Norfolk which turns Microsoft's erronous "Water" island into an island with actual land. Contains a few small custom items (textures included). Requires some EZ Scenery Object Sets ( see INSTALL instructions for details).

File Description:

Chiang Mai Thailand (VTCC)

File Description:
This is scenery for Chiang Mai, Thailand. It also creates scenery for two smaller airfields nearby (Lanna and Lamphun). This is a complete rebuild of the default airport, and inlcudes all gates, the cargo area, and the Air Force base. The scenery is fully compatible with my mesh scenery that I had created for Thailand. An AFCAD2 file, and landclass is included.

File Description: A scenery for Huaihua airport which is missing in FS9 stock version, with basic default buildings, tower, and taxisigns. Based on december 2004 sat imagery, at a time when construction works were still going on. Navaids valid as AIRAC 1110. Fictionnal ILS04 approach coded for UI & AI. A basic landclass is also provided, which covers only vicinity of the airport & Zhijiang town. Current scheduled operators at ZGCJ: China Southern, Spring Airlines.

FYAR Arandis, Namibia

File Description:
Based on googleEarth and fotos. Ez-scenery and rwy12 objects included. Includes the airport, as well as landclass for the town of Arandis and a textured area to represent the uranium mine east-south-east of the airport. Roads in the vicinity have been added and adjusted. Compatible with Holger Sandmann's Namibia LOD9 Terrain mesh (namibia_ne.zip, namibia_nw.zip, namibia_se.zip, namibia_sw.zip, namibia_cp.zip) as well as his namibia_scenery_updates.zip, all found at avsim.com.

High-resolution 76-m (LOD9) Terrain Mesh and Scenery Enhancements for the Southern Canadian Rockies

File Description:
Not simply an add-on mesh, these files include many scenery enhancements for the southern Rockies of British Columbia and Alberta. Coverage extends from Cranbrook to Calgary, and Hinton to Edmonton (N48.9-53.4 W112.3-116.3). The mesh source data are 3-arcsec (~90-m) Shuttle Radar (SRTM) files, compiled at LOD9 (76-m) resolution. All lake elevations (!) have been adjusted to eliminate the problems with the default lake data and to better fit the new terrain mesh. In addition, the Transcanada Highway/Icefields Parkway corridor in Banff National Park, from Canmore to the Hwy 11 junction, has been completely re-made, with dozens of alpine lakes (including Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Lake O'Hara), accurate transportation network, and landclass/waterclass updates based on satellite imagery. Due to significant changes in FS2004 to vector layering and autogen features, the special scenery enhancements cannot be used with FS2002. However, terrain mesh, lake corrections and landclass replacements will work well in FS2002.
