California Central Coast Scenery for UT USA Revision #2

Modesto City-County Airport

File Description:
FS2004 Scenery-Modesto City-County-Harry Sham Field Airport (KMOD) serves Modesto and Stanislaus County and is owned jointly by the City of Modesto and Stanislaus County, and the airport is operated by the City of Modesto. The airport has more than one runway. The longest is a paved runway extending 5911 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 97 feet at a distance of about 2 miles from Modesto. South Farallon Islands

File Description:
These islands were mysteriously absent from the FS2004 default scenery, probably owing to their small size. When I went to look for them I found a small mountain of water instead of the islands. Most people don't seem to be aware of the Farallon Islands. Located off the coast of California, near San Francisco, they are home to thousands of birds, seals, and some of the largest Great White sharks known to man. All of this is within a very short distance of the city. Today, it is a wildlife refuge and is off limits to visitation by the general public. Those of you interested in more info might check out "The Devil's Teeth" by Susan Casey. This island is actually a scenery object. As such it doesn't have a landable surface. Future versions will have a helicopter pad.

Fresno, CA KFAT

File Description:
This is a small enhancement to Fresno Air Terminal. It will liven things up a bit at this small California airport. Boscomantico LIPN is a small civil airport near Verona, Italy. Here there is a small AeroClub, and a Parachute's School. The airport lay-out is realistic;the positions of hangars and other buildings are realistic;hangars and building, and other objects are from RWN12 group, and are not realistic.
