Lockheed-Martin C-130J Hercules

File Description:
The Lockheed C130J Hercules (or Super Hercules) is the latest in a long range of this legendary transport aircraft. It is easily distinguishable from its predecessors by its six-bladed propellers. Other improvements include more powerful engines, higher cruise- and maximum speed, longer range and improved avionics. This aircraft features animation of all control surfaces, landing gear and propellers; full lighting effects; opening front door and rear cargo ramp. A photo-realistic, custom-designed panel (including xnl-gauges) with a Heads-Up Display (“HUD”) and a Multi Functional Display (“MFD”) for navigation is also provided. An experienced Hercules pilot checked the flight dynamics. Extensive documentation, including checklists, aircraft information and information on panel operation is provided. Four variations, painted in the colors of the United States Air Force, Royal Air Force, South African Air Force and the Royal Australian Air Force, are provided.

Lockheed C-130H Hercules

File Description:
This Lockheed C-130H model is built for AI purposes only using the excellent FSDS v1 Lockheed L100-30 model by Johan Crous - AS THE BASIS OF THIS PROJECT. This model is available at www.freeflightdesign.com. Johan's model has been completely revised and updated using a mixture of parts from the original project and new parts created by David Friswell. The Hecules has 4 multi-LOD models for maximum framerates when there are multiple copies of this model viewable within FS9. This AI model is what appears in the RAAF AI package for FS2004/FS9 at www.aussim.com.au, this package contains only blank textures that is aimed at the repainter who wishes to use this model for AI purposes.

Lockheed C-130H

File Description:
FS2004 Lockheed C-130H Hercules This aircraft is built for FS2004. It should work with FS2002 without any problems, but I no longer support FS2002. This package is configured with a default panel. It is intended for use with the custom panel made by Ken Mitchel. You must obtain the panel in a seperate download. If you have not done so, it is available on my site. The base textures folder in this zip file contains base (unpainted) texture files for use in repainting. Note that the aircraft supplied in this package is supplied as is. While I endeavor to correct problems with the aircraft, I make no guarantee that any problem real or perceived will be fixed. Suggestions for enhancements and fixes will be implemented solely at my discretion. Please don't waste my time with subjective "perceived" issues like "The nose is too round", "The tail is too small", "The wing is the wrong color", etc. I have made every effort to make the model as accurate as I am able and willing, and will not modify it further to fit anyone's personal specifications.

Fairchild C-82A Packet (Project Phoenix)

File Description:
First and foremost, this aircraft package is dedicated to the memory of the late Paul Mantz, a veteran stunt pilot who gave his life in the making of the 1965, 20th Century Fox movie, “Flight of the Phoenix” starring James Stewart and a strong cast of other well known actors. This package contains not only the C-82 Packet, but, as a special feature, “The Phoenix” as well. For those of you who have not seen this classic, you are missing a real jewel. It can still be obtained in VHS or DVD at www.amazon.com I highly recommend it. The C-82 comes in three paint schemes, U.S.A.F., Bush Flying Unlimited, and of course, Arabco Oil. The Phoenix is painted as it was in the movie. Both aircraft have excellent panels built by K. Mitchell and the C-82 possesses a very nice virtual cockpit on par with that found in the C-119; previously released. These are DXT-3 textures with no mip-maps to preserve image clarity. I chose this format in the attempt to maintain a minimal upload/download package size. I will be following up with individual texture replacement packages in 32-bit for those who wish them. I hope you enjoy this flightsim model as much as I did putting this package together. I could not have done so without the excellent help and work of Daisuke Yamamoto, Herb Morse, K. Aeronca

File Description:
This aircraft first flew in 1947 in USA. They were a popular aircraft in their time seating four passengers Wingspan 37' 6" Length 25' 3". Cruising speed of 99 knots and a range of 456 miles. This model has been designed for AI usage but also flies nicely for you as a pilot. Two models, each containing 6 LODs are included and three textures have been prepared. The first model with wheel covers had 1878 polygons (faces) and the one without wheel covers has 1626 polygons (faces). A separate paintkit will be uploaded in the next couple of days. Model and textures by Mike Cronin. Made using GMax 1.2
