Nick's Space Shuttle Landing Challenge FINAL RELEASE

File Description:
Featuring the Space Shuttle Discovery and celebrating NASA's return to space! This package contains the most up to date version of my Space Shuttle Landing Challenge (v1.2). I am providing it as a FINAL single installation package to eliminate the need for multiple update files. This package includes the Space Shuttle Discovery redesigned using actual NASA-Boeing mechanical/aeronautical engineering data, a panel, sounds and shuttle landing FX. The space shuttle in the sim (like the real shuttle) has the ability to water 'ditch' and belly land in an emergency or if improperly landed on the suspension system. You can select the sensitivity of the main landing gear struts (less crashes) for those who are novice to flying critical tolerances. This package includes a CHALLENGE FLIGHT ADVENTURE PACKAGE and features a reference list of the flights along with approach/landing procedure tips to the kneeboard (F-10) for you to refer to while in flight. The adventure pack will provide a set of 11 challenge flights spanning the globe for the space shuttle re-entry simulation. A Bonus PACK of CrashBar effects including smoke, fire, explosions and other nasty reminders of landing mistakes is included as an optional installation. The original .mdl file is by Matthew Moxon and a modified for FS9 panel byTom Kellner. Model repaint, flight dynamics, air file, sound.cfg, adventure flights and shuttle landing\crash FX by Nick Needham. Includes NASA's description of the entire landing process which you can now experience in Flight Simulator! Dassault-Breguet Mirage F1

File Description:
This is a Gmax rework of my Mirage F1V2.0. It is a complete package with a simple 2D panel, sounds and With their permission, I've also included the gauges from Romain Lucas and Laurent Lucas's SUPER ETENDARD. There are four F1 versions within this package (VR cockpits are all CR models). They are the F1C, F1AZ, F1CR and F1CT.
I've added all new textures, a new custom soundset and added many Gmax features to improve realism. One of the major improvements to this plane is the addition of an ALL NEW more realistic looking Virtual cockpit. There are 6 loadout configurations and six paint schemes.
In the F1C models you can view the entire aircraft from the VRcockpit. Allowing for great Active Camera shots. I've included three Active Camera preset files for this purpose.

Hawker Cygnet

File Description:
H G Hawker Aircraft Co Ltd built two Cygnets in 1924. They were 2-seat biplanes with an empty weight of 373lb. The Cygnet was the first aircraft designed by Sydney Camm - who went on to design the Hurricane and the Harrier prototype - the P1127. The Cygnets came first and second in the 1926 Daily Mail newspaper light aircraft.

Myasishchev 3M-T 'Atlant'

File Description:
Myasishchev 3M-T 'Atlant' (atlas) In the mid 1970's the USA began the development of a re-usable space transport system that soon became universally known as the Space Shuttle. The Soviet Union responded by launching the development of a similar system, known generally as the 'BURAN' (SnowStorm). To transport the components of the 'Buran' orbiter and 'Energia' space launch vehicle to the Baikonur, Kazakhstan launch site, the Myasishchev OKB proposed using the 3M bomber as a carrier. Engineering changes to the three 3MN 'Bison-B' tankers selected for conversion to transports included a 7 meter up-swept fuselage extension, twin end plate square vertical stabilizers, and strengthened out-rigger struts. FS2004 Republic F-84G Thunderjet. The F-84 Thunderjet was one of the most important western fighters of the 1950's. It was produced in very large numbers, had a distinguished carreer with the USAF in Korea as a fighter-bomber, and was for a number of years the main equipment of many NATO air forces.
