Allegheny Commuter - Pocono Airlines Fairchild / Swearingen Metro III A repaint of the Mike Stone Metro III Paint Kit in the 1980 colors of Allegheny Commuter operated by Pocono Airlines.... Pocono Airlines was established in 1965 linking Mount Pocono in Northeasten Pennsylvania with New York City/Newark and Philadelphia. Durring the 70's and early 80's the carrier grew with the Allegheny Commuter family to eventually serve more Pennsylvania communities such as Allentown, Hazelton, Williamsport and Leigheighton from it's base in Wilkes Barre/Scranton and south to Washington, Dc and Baltimore.
