File Description: The AIRCO - De Havilland D.H.9, designed to be the successor to the D.H.4, was constructed in large numbers (over 3,000 airframes). The 'Ναυτική Αεροπορική Υπηρεσία' (N.A.Y./ Hellenic Navy Air Force) received, after the end of WWI, a total of 42 D.H.9s and used them as recce/bombers; after 1926 six of them were transformed in seaplanes. The D.H.9s were used with success by N.A.Y. during the Micrasiatic Campaign (1922). All the D.H.9s were based on Tatoi's and Faliro's Airports, near Athens, until 1932.
Texture set only for an aircraft belonged to the N.A.Y. during 1925/26.These textures require the original FS9 De Havilland DH-9 package by Chris Herring. Repaint by Manuele Villa, February 2008.
