File Description:
P-51D-20 44-63984 was assigned to Major James B.Tapp of the 78th FS/15th FG. He was credited with four victories over Tokyo on 7 april 1945, during his first encounter with enemy aircraft. He went on to become the first ace of the 'Sun Setters' and the commander of the 78th FS. He finished the war with 8 victories.
